Zaffron by Le Coorg — Restaurant in Karnataka

I believe this restaurant is very keen to set up a benchmark in providing pathetic service..this restaurant has been my only worst experience in Coorg. There are like countless reason to not to visit this restaurant. 1.Every people working there, from their manager to their waiter are rude. 2.There service is so pathetic that to even get a glass of water will be a big deal for u. 3.They are not at all bothered about their customer and if u complain about all these things then they will simply ask u to leave They are taking service charges also which is not compulsory for a customer to pay unless customer doesn't want to volunteer fpr service charge according to the new amendment. And on top of that if u are thinking that might be their food taste will be good that's y they are carrying so much of ego but let me tell u they miserably failed in that department also. Service Firstly the worst thing about this place is that the preparation time for the food is pathetic. We ordered our first dish (vegetable platter) the moment we entered the restaurant but it came after 35-40mins and this is when only 3 tables out of 7-10 were occupied.

Food The food was very tasty and it totally outweighed our outrage and anger towards the delay in preparation of food. So as said above, we tried vegetable platter, veg biryani, honey ginger lemon water, dal makhani and sweet lassi. The food was a bit oily but the flavours were great. Biryani was more of a veg pulao but we were satisfied with it.

Price Quantity Ratio The food was adequately priced and the quantity was sufficient for 2 people. Accordingly, it would be listed under moderate category in terms of price.

Service is pathetic, No A/C, had to keep on reminding the staff abt our needs, untill we finished the dinner no spoons or glasses were provided, written complain given at reception.we were a group of 16, when ordered they said its not available, however they kept on supplying it to the other table the same dishes.Though when we entered it was not crowded, other tables got preference over us as it got more customers Have to leave the restaurant with half filled tummy.Management should take initiative to prevent such incidents.
