Tried all spice kollam after seeing the google rating. First of all the external appearance of the restaurant is really great and i was so excited to go in. Its an old style naalukettu converted to a restaurant and they nailed it with the seating arrangement paint and everything. Its a really pleasant ambiance they were able to create. Food and Price We ordered soupes, avoli thava fry, beef biryani, noodles, porotta and beef curry. I was expecting variety and tasty dishes but sadly nothing we ate amazed us at all. Everything felt normal to our taste buds in terms of flavours. Biryani was the worst among them. No attracting aroma and no good flavours. Biryani Only had quantity and quality beef pieces. Noodles since its chinese was good. Soup also was ok ok with no much chicken pieces in hot and sour. Another variety we tried had some prawns and chocken in it. Avoli fry was really really fresh but still not so flavourful. Wheat porotta was good but beef curry was again a disappointment. We expected much better taste from this place so we are really disappointed. Everything felt bland and normal. Their taste doesnt justify the pricing. One can go here mainly for the ambiance and service. Most of the waiters were ladies and they are really good at what they do from communicating the time for preparation prior to ordering to serving it on promised time to checking on us regularly. Everything is systematic. Waiters play a major role in restaurant survival and sure this place will survive with them. Over-all its a one tym visit place according to me but u have to visit...
Read moreFood is good as excepted from a Supreme group restaurant.
Atmosphere - we had to sit near the front door - it was not at all pleasant. Wash area is not clean and upto the Supreme brand mark. Please check your own Upper Crust or even the newest Neyela on how to keep wash area.
Service - Worst. Especially from the Lady staff.
They are least bothered about women customers & care only what "Sir" wants. Not just once, but each & every time the waitress asks only the Men in the family about the orders & ignores women. I've observed this in most of the restaurants where Ladies take the order. This is 2024 & please be at your senses. Supreme group, as one of the best & premium brands, please take care of this.
We had ordered Chaakara vanji (kind of seafood platter ) for us. I've observed that the staff here generally discourage when we order Seafood kizhi or platter. They would say it will take time. However anything may take time. It's not good to discourage ordering your signature dishes.
Please educate your staff on how to talk & behave to Customers. We had ordered a pizza for our kid & we were having it while waiting for Chaakara vanji. Then the staff arrived with the main dish & said, "Sir ipo thanne kuzhanju ennu thonnunnallo". We never expected this! How can they just say this & how does it matter to them ? It's totally up to us what we order & how we feel. Do you think it's okay to bully the Customers? Shame on you!!

Read moreI recently visited the newly relocated All Spice restaurant, which officially opened its doors on April 15, 2024. Previously situated above the Supreme Supermarket in Musaliar Buildings at Chinnakada, the new location came as a delightful surprise. The transformation is remarkable, with an ambiance and food quality that starkly contrast its former setup. During my visit, I indulged in the Pothu Variyellu Roast accompanied by Chapati and Kerala Porota. The Pothu Variyellu roast was a culinary revelation, tantalizing the taste buds to such an extent that I would gladly award it six stars if possible! However, the Porota and Chapati were somewhat underwhelming, lacking the softness one would expect, and curiously, the Chapati was priced higher than the Porota. Recently we tried Appom with some other ethnic dishes and the Appom was too sweet. Earlier once we had the same experience and we informed the staff as well. The restaurant boasts ample parking space, both within its premises and outside, addressing one of the common concerns of diners in the area. Set in a beautifully renovated traditional house, the establishment offers an array of rooms, each exuding its own unique charm. For those who appreciate fine dining and are always in pursuit of new culinary experiences, All Spice is a destination that should not be missed. It stands as a testament to how a change of scenery can elevate the dining experience to impressive...
