HOLBORN-THE FLAMING GASTRONOMY — Restaurant in Kerala

Owners please note. Food was really nice... and quality was aslo so great.

Attitude of one of the waiter is really bad ordering customers where to sit etc.. Customer is king ...never experienced like this anywhere.

Reported to the manager he was blaming the management ? Really if this is the fact then u can see disappearing customers in the future.

Everybody pays the same penny nothing more nothing less.

Please do the needful... even if u serve the best attitude matters

NO TO YOUR KIND KNOWLEDGE NO TABLE WAS BOOKED .AS WE WERE THERE FOR NEAR AN HOUR NO GROUP OF 6 WAS THERE FOR THE TABLE... AS YOUR 2ND LAST TABLE GOT A WATER DRIPPING ISSUES FROM THE AC ..THATS WHY WE CHANGED THE PLACE..

WHATEVER IF A RESERVED BOARD WAS KEPT ON THE TABLE NO ONE WILL TAKE THE SEAT..MORE OVER TELLING THE CUSTOMERS "TO TAKE THE FOOD AND MOVE AWAY WHEN OTHER PEOPLE COME"... THATS HIS ATTITUDE.

YOU WERE SERVING FOOD IN A BETTER WAY BUT TAME YOUR TEAM AND TEACH THEM HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.. rather than sitting on your shoes and saying filthy excuses is not the point sir.

And we are based on kollam not from an outside locality so we were into most of 99% restaurants big as well as small....never had an experience like this..so pointed out the same ...even informed your manager to take care of this.. as there were customers so we didnt uttered a word to the guy who showed his attitude.. so everyone will nt do the same...

We wanted to try a cafe in Kollam. So we googled and found good reviews for this cafe and decided to go. But it was the worst thing happened to us that day! We had Cream of mushroom soup, dynamic prawns, chicken club sandwich and duo pink sauce pasta (chicken) and black tea. The only thing we enjoyed was the black tea. The cream of mushroom soup was too sweet we had to add lots of pepper and still tasted bad. The dynamic prawns was sweet but good quantity. The sandwich tasted raw and bland. No particular taste at all. And pink sauce pasta tasted too sweet as well. We couldn’t take a bite. We had to order a black tea to clean our mouths. After eating nothing we still paid more 1k for the food. We had so much expectations because of the reviews and names but was disappointed after. Pros: The staff were friendly and provided good service Good variety menu Ambience was great Short waiting tome for food Cons: The food was devastating we couldn’t eat anything. Everything we ordered were too sweet even...

Holborn is definitely a different experience and a brand-new offering of fusion food in Kollam. The menu is brilliantly curated, and is different from other restaurants. The ambience and the interiors done for Holborn definitely deserves appreciation. The staff were courteous and the waitress explained to us about a couple of items in the menu.

The only thing that really bothered us and made us lose patience was the time taken for preparation. We spent around 3 hours, of which we would have hardly spent an hour on eating, and another 15-20 minutes for ordering the food. The restaurant was not crowded, and we visited here on a weekday. It was also difficult for us to reach out to the staff as there were only a couple of them serving for almost all the tables.

Update: The waiting times are considerably reduced and I have been to Holborn a couple of times after my review. We didn't have to wait on the waiter/ waitress during our recurring visits. The quality of the food...
