Wok & Grill Chinese Thai Fusion — Restaurant in Kerala

Horrendous experience. These guys claim to be a restaurant that serves Thai dishes. After having been in and around SE Asia for over 14 years; I was glad that there was an outlet that serves Thai food in Kollam. I was eager to try them and ordered for Tom Yam chicken soup, Thai Green curry chicken and Pattaya fried rice. I will never make this mistake ever again of ordering something without checking on reviews. The Tom Yam soup had the stink of 'pee'(seriously). I called them again and they had the fall to tell me that it was the stink of 'lemon grass'. I seriously doubted their claims coz lemongrass smells really pleasant. I recalled them and asked them to taste the soup. Then they admitted that they used Tom Yam paste to make the soup. Green curry chicken was equally atrocious. I was gracious enough to give 2 stars for their ambience. Thai food was a complete let down. PLEASE DON'T ORDER THAI FOOD. The food was too exorbitantly expensive as well. Compared to this place, Ramees makes a better place to eat...both food wise and it's ambience. I will never visit them...

Fine dining and delightful diner‼️ . Had the experience to have one of the best restaurants in Kollam. . One of the best places to have Chinese, thai foods . Initially had dynamite prawns 🦐 which tasted spectacular. Also a tex-mix chicken salad which was nice with a smooth mix of bingo mad angles. Before that a warm sweet corn chicken soup. Which tasted very good as well but with a little sweet side extra. . After that i had an American chop-suey which was very good as well. The flavour was right on spot and i really loved it . . Other had mutton dum biriyani which was good as well. . Lastly a green apple blast which i expected to be a normal mojito but was different with full of ice and was very good. . The staff were very professional and friendly even suggested the best to have. . About the price i expected the bill to be very high but to my astonishment it wasn’t very high as expected . For four people it cam within 2k rs . All around i had a very good experience, would recommend this...

Probably the first moderately priced, premium-quality restaurant in Kollam. Till now, we had to be content with the inconsistent nature of Allspice s work. Though the variety offered in the menu is disappointing(especially the Arabic palate), the food that they do offer is tasty and definitely worth the relatively high price (by Kollam standards) you pay for them. The decor exudes a delightful blend of class and simplicity. Considering the high demand for seats and the hilariously small number of tables available, I wouldn't be surprised to see the owners shifting to a larger premise. As for the service, the waiters are patient, helpful and always have a smile on their face. Wok and Grill has become an overnight success and though by Kollam standards it is already in a league of its own, I sincerely hope they don't rest on their laurels and soldier on to become the undisputed kings of food in the city and the...
