Blue Rock Resto Bar — Restaurant in Kerala

Heading. : Bad cocktail, unprofessional behavior.

We went for dinner to Bluerock. Along with food, we also ordered “Long Isalnd Tea”. This cocktail was below standard. There was hardly any alcohol. Glass was full of ice. And it was served in a curved glass usually used for milder cocktails. Bar person came to us. And apologized. And told us he will make something better for us. We thought he is trying to rectify his mistake and offering a replacement drink. (Which we would expect from any good restaurant). We told him we want LIIT only. This time drink was proper with correct amount of alcohol and ice. And also correct shape of glass.

When the bill came, they charged us for both LIIT. When we objected, they were totally in argumentative mode. We called manager. He also took side of his bar person. And refused to waive off charges for first LIIT. His arguement was if it was bad, why u drank it. Thats why we will have to pay.

The price of LIIT is also very high (1250₹). And then we had to pay for both, which was very disappointing. The way the bar oerson came, apologized and offered us another “better” drink, it was implied he is offering a replacement drink to rectify his mistake of making a bad drink in the first place.

Moral of the story:

1. high price of drink
2. still not made or served properly
3. even after accepting the drink was bad (which got proven when he next made proper drink), still arrogancy and unprofessional behavior and billing for both drinks.

For this reason, we will not recommend this place to any one.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience. Upon my cousin's recommendation, I visited Blue Rockresto Bar and was absolutely delighted by the unique atmosphere. The medieval Mexican theme, adorned with amusing and captivating quotes on the walls, created an ambiance that was both entertaining and inviting. The soothing music further enhanced the overall experience.

Arriving during happy hour was a stroke of luck as it allowed us to take advantage of the buy one get one offer. We opted for Budweiser Premium, which perfectly complemented our meal. Speaking of which, I must commend your kitchen staff on their culinary skills. The chicken kanthaari dish we ordered was simply outstanding - the combination of tender chicken and flavorful kanthaari chillies left us wanting more.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I would like to provide some constructive feedback regarding the green salad. Although it was decently prepared, it fell short in terms of being truly remarkable compared to the other dishes we savored.

Overall, my experience at Blue Rockresto Bar was exceptional. The ambience, friendly staff, delectable food offerings, and happy hour deals contributed to a memorable evening that exceeded my expectations.
