Read moreI recently visited Gokul Oottupura and had the opportunity to try various dishes. The Mushroom Pulav was exceptionally delicious, with flavors that complemented each other perfectly. The North Indian Thali was another highlight, offering a great balance of flavors and textures. It also came with a special touch - a serving of warm Gulab Jamun and crispy Pappadam, which added to the overall experience. The Ladiesfinger and Potato Curry in the thali was particularly good, with the flavors blending together nicely. The thali also included two chappathis, which were a nice addition. If the chappathis were softer, the North Indian Thali would be almost perfect. Other dishes, such as the Rava Masala Dosa and Paneer Dry Fry, were also enjoyable. The dosa was crispy and served with a delicious chutney. The paneer dish was good, but I felt it could be improved by making it crisper and reducing the sauce-like texture. However, the Chilli Paneer Dosa could be improved, as it lacked the desired level of spiciness. Additionally, the ambiance could be enhanced to create a more welcoming atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff members eager to assist. Overall, I recommend Gokul Oottupura for its tasty food and good service. With some improvements, it has the potential to become a top-notch...
Read moreWe had a great experience at Gokul Oottupura Veg Restaurant. The food was absolutely excellent and lived up to the expectations of a good South Indian vegetarian spot. We tried Masala Dosa, Puri Masala, Onion Oothappam, Vada, along with Tea and Coffee – every item was served fresh, hot, and full of authentic flavor. The dosa was crisp, the puris were soft and perfectly puffed, and the chutneys and sambar complemented the dishes well. Vadas were crispy on the outside and soft inside – just how they should be. Both the tea and coffee were strong, aromatic, and satisfying.
The ambiance is simple and clean, suitable for a quick and hearty breakfast or lunch. The service was also quick and polite. However, the only downside is the lack of proper parking facilities. There’s no designated parking area, so you have to park your vehicle by the roadside in front of the restaurant, which might be a concern during busy hours.
That said, the quality of food and overall experience makes this place well worth a visit for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian fare. Highly recommended for traditional South...
