Cafe De La Mer — Restaurant in Kerala

Pathetic customer service.Arrogant and poor service attitude.Never go here l, it's a caution. Me and my family, a group of 5 went to this place(restaurant) yesterday around 8 pm and while we were checking for a place to sit, the cashier or the manager i dont know who he was, came to us and rudely said those seats are reserved. So While moving out my brother gently asked the guy if you could arrange for us by adjoining other tables. The guy was so rude and arrogant, he simply snapped at my brother and very rudely said I can't do all that for you guys. It was like saying get lost. We had 2 small kids and they were very upset with his behaviour and attitude. We left the place and went to another restaurant called Crow's Nest Cafe that welcomed us gently and without even telling them anything adjoined 2 tables and made us sit facing the beautiful beach. And of course our 2 small ones were very happy and enjoyed the evening. So "Never ever choose Cafe De La Mer or its associate Jeevan resort for anything as they will simply snap at you and say get lost". They have an indifferent attitude towards families and groups. Other nationalities and fellow Indians please "Beware" They are utmost...

I’m writing this since this is my 2nd time experience. The waiters have ego issues on Indian nationals visiting their restaurant. They won’t easily turn back to you if you aren’t foreign. The waiters were standing idle even after calling them to take order multiple times and but they were concerned really about “Others (You know). We had to get up and go and the waiter with thick moustache who is the All in All there silently smiled at us as if he won the mental game. Don’t visit here if you value yourself and don’t entertain...

Today we ordered egg fried Rice , Pineapple juice , And my friend ordered a Beer small bottle. Egg fried rice was totally Without salt or any other seasoning. Quantity was not for also 1 person. Min 10 tablespoon rice was scattered on the plate to show it full. They forgot the Pineapple juice to serve...after reminder they brought it.

My friend Showed on Beer bottle it was written Carbonated WINE, No foam , effervescence was there on the glass. And very Hard. It was not Actually Beer.
