Cook Door Fried Chicken & Shawarma — Restaurant in Kerala

On 13th Feb 2023, we were dragged into this restaurant by two sales people standing on the road trying to convince every single person who walks by that restaurant. We found a lot of mosquitos in the ground floor and the waiter argued there isn't one even though it was clearly visible. The Waiter said there isn't a menu card and we later found out they actually had one. We ordered al faham, briyani and chicken fried rice and it was in the fried rice we found a mid sized dead cockroach. We were shocked and asked waiter about that, he was rushing to take it back to the kitchen to change it. But we insisted the manager to come see. The guy at the bill counter didn't seem shocked at all after hearing this. The manager(the guy who sent us inside the restaurant waving people to get inside) came and simply offered a replacement without any guilt.they still charged for the rest of the food.After we came out the manager told us that they sprayed a lot of chemicals in the kitchen the previous night and it could have been because of that this might have happened. God knows what else is happening inside this restuarant. I felt a massive uneasiness in the stomach as soon as I left the restaurant. I am writing this on 16th of feb after falling severely ill and I hope it isnt something major. PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT...

Had a very bad experience after ordering food from this place on Swiggy . Had ordered 2 portions of biriyani in which we were supposed to get 2 chicken pieces as promised on the app instead they only served one. The lime juice we got along with the food was literally sugar syrup and the smoothies (kiwi-mango & banana-mango) were literally some banana juice with some sort of kiwi n mango flavoured syrup . If you are providing less quantity but quality food…it is acceptable but instead you are trying to cheat the customer by providing low quality food. I called Swiggy customer support and they provided a refund for one biriyani in which the chicken piece was missing. But had to write this review cuz it ain’t the Swiggy people who are making the food. The restaurant is responsible for providing quality food to their customers. If it isn’t feasible for you to provide good food with such offers, please don’t do it. If you want more business instead of cheating customers like this…provide good quality food. Trust me…you will get better customers even if the price is a little higher.

Sharing a bad experience which i faced today

This place called COOK DOOR RESTAURANT located near St thomas College on the way to east fort thrissur is kinda famous here for their BbQ ,Shavai and Shawarmas and i have been their regular customer since i moved to Thrissur town,back then it was not so busy....

Now as usual it was a busy day and i had to wait for my turn to place my order..Finally i placed my order and i had given card for payment and the cashier, guess he is the owner too...without saying a word... he hits my hand .....shoved me away....

and when i explained him that i understand that he is busy and i am ready to wait but this is not how you should treat your customer ,he was like"YOU WANT YOUR FOOD,TAKE IT OTHERWISE GET LOST"

After being humiliated so badly all i could do was cancel my order and coming out of that place
