Domino's Pizza | Kanjikuzhi, Kottayam — Restaurant in Kerala

I was always a big time lover of Dominos but, the outlet in Kottayam, staff behaviour and their attitude towards the job has literally ruined the goodwill of the company. I don't usually update reviews in Google but this time I thought I should just to let other know how pathetic they have become. I've order 2 medium cheese burst pizza which will cost 1000 rupees approx. and paid through online for a hassle free experience and the app it shows that the pizza is being prepared. I've been checking the app to have a track on my order. Exactly after the 20th min it shows an executive with my order has left from the store and will reach shortly. Though I'm staying in one of the well known apartment complex in Kottayam which is located at the main road side at the heart of the town, 8 mins past I thought of calling the store juss to confirm whether the delivery guy knows this place. Nobody has responded when I called them twice that made me feel a bit annoying because as per dominos rule the call has to be picked in 2 rings. Third time when I called one lady picked up the call to whom I enquired my order status. Her response was, Sir, I was about to call you to confirm your order. You ordered so and so pizza isn't?(imagine after 30mins) I was like Yes!!. She said "we gonna prepare your pizza and will be delivered in 45mins as there is no time guarantee for a bulk order, while over the phone without even placing the call on MUTE she was screaming and confirming with some guy whether they deliver at my area. After a while she advised me to collect the order from one place which is juss 150m away from my apartment as the location where I am in is no longer their service boundary. (Precisely saying my apartment is 3km and 150 m away from their outlet and they deliver pizza only within 3kms after 30mins) I was really surprised the way she behaved. I told her that I placed the order 30 mins back and nobody deliver the pizza and now she is saying they gonna make the pizza and deliver in 45mins. I've been attended by 3 executive they all were justifying their mistake. After a great pathetic fight I've recieved my cold oozed out cheese burst pizza after 1.5hrs. I had to go through whatever I already gone through if I need to request them for a remake. Hence I adjusted with my that pizza. Imagine how irritating it will be for a person who paid 1000rs for a pizza and got a below average food item. Hate...

I'm taking a few minutes of my valuable time to add this review.....if you are not within 3kms of their precious restaurant you will not get your food delivered...oh, BTW that is not given in the detailed information about them.and since I love pizza and not knowing anything about this, placed an order on zomato.I got an SMS stating that they have accepted my order.I also got an SMS from dominos stating my order no.and bill amt.. within seconds after I receive the SMS, I get a call from a dominos female employee,WHO WAS NOT RUDE AT ALL, saying to me they can't deliver to my place and talking in the most PEACEFUL MANNER and asking me POLITELY to go ask ZOMATO about the whole situation....SO the Crime was Mine and mine alone.... but mind you, the order status'your food is getting ready in the dominos kitchen' was still not gone.I contacted ZOMATO and asked them to cancel who replied that it was the dominos who should cancel it.Being hungry,I opted to place another order which was delayed because the order for pizza was still in the kitchen....I had to call the domino's old woman again who was speaking to me now with a mouth full of food and asked her to cancel the order.THERE WAS NO RUDENESS OR HEATED EXCHANGES...It was a peaceful and happy experience.I was not hungry because of my undelivered pizza...I ordered my food from Bean stori, also located at kanjikuzhi at approximately the same distance,who delivered within 30 minutes.And their food was also great....dear dominos if you can't deliver what you promise... don't list yourself on ZOMATO or do better and employ someone who can deliver your food for you...and send your employees to some kind of program where they teach how to treat your...

Very poor diner and careless staff. They seem to focus on taking order and delivering the pizzas (even that's delayed these days). I couldn't believe that the staff do not even bother picking up the calls. I had to call them for the confirmation of an order because I had to drive 8 kms to the restaurant. They didn't pickup the call and I tried calling from the diner itself to make sure that they are not picking up. I was right, they were ignoring the calls! I just don't understand how an international restuarant chain can go backward in terms of quality like this! Quality of service and customer service should be their basic policy. Diner was dirty. Food crumbs andkethup packet could be seen lying on the floor. Chairs were scattered all over the place! How can their Manager allow this? They charge you premium price for their average pizzas, but cannot ensure the diner a properly maintained diner or friendly staff. The staff didn't seem to like when customers followed up their orders. Place looks like they are understaffed and that's not...
