I recently placed an order for the Wednesday offer of a 10-piece bucket for 750 INR. I would like to appreciate the quality of chicken and taste was also exceptionally good.
But Due to high demand, my order was delayed by 35 minutes, which I understand may be due to limited staff and fryer availability at the outlet. When I enquired about KFC’s policy of providing an extra piece for delayed orders, the staff acknowledged the policy but said they couldn’t apply it in this case.
During fulfillment, a staff member initially packed my order with fries, but the manager repacked it, ultimately swapping it with another customer’s order. I noticed that my original order was given to the other customer, while I received smaller pieces from the rack. Additionally, I had to remind the staff about each item in my order, as they weren’t following the tokens or checking the bill details. I also had to specifically show that I’d ordered two extra dippings, which were only included after the order was reopened. This experience felt disappointing, as I had to ask about the policy and expected the order to be handled with attention to detail. Guy took back the plate when i reminded him that it was takeway order, another staff was going to put it inside the paper bag but he asked him to stay away as he wanted to give that box to another customer and wanted me to have smaller wing pieces. When i asked why he replaced my box he said he wanted to save time in packing. Both the ordered were of same packing so why take out my box and fill another box?. This was clearly cheating and unethical, he wanted to reduce the quantity. Clear standard should be kept on quantity.
Implementing an electronic buzzer based token system instead of manually pinging the delivery boy for order status, will enable you to keep track of each order and provide customers with the freedom to roam around the floor while they wait for their food to get prepared. Adding an extra fryer can help handle customer demands. There are sevaral pther kfc outlets in kochi and around india. None of them serve quality product, but you guys have a quality product but lacks the ethics. Dont push managers for targets. You dont need a kfc branding to sell quality food. Al baik is example for this, if high commission is the issue start your own brand and make promotion saying you are a malayali people will support.
After some repeated quality issues i have stayed away from kfc and was a regular customer of burger king and al baik, this recent experience is a reminder of this brands lack of training and lack of commitment to improve itself. 750rs is a significant amount for a one time meal if we cant trust the quality and service its not worth spending the money. Since the order was packed in-front of me i was able to eat it otherwise i dont think they will give fresh food. Such arrogance and intolerance to admit fault is not justifiable

Read more"I visited KFC at Forum Mall today and had a worst experience with one specific staff member. Ordered food at 5:10 PM and was told to wait 10 minutes, which was reasonable. However, their advertisement screen displayed a 7-minute delivery promise with an extra piece of chicken. After waiting 20 minutes, I received my order at 5:30 PM. When I asked the staff about the 7-minute policy, he was rude and unhelpful, claiming it was no longer available due to "punching issues." The advertisement was still playing on their TV!
To make matters worse: No tray or paper plates were provided; I had to ask for them separately. I ordered Spicy Hot chicken legs, but the taste was subpar.
What's more disturbing was the staff's attitude:
The specific staff member was dismissive and unapologetic. Another staff member standing nearby was laughing and looking at us, making the situation even more uncomfortable.
The manager was present but failed to intervene or address our concerns.
Important Note: My complaint is specifically about this one staff member and not a reflection on all KFC staff. I've had positive experiences at other outlets. Long wait times Misleading advertisements Rude staff Unresponsive management Lack of basic amenities (tray/paper plates) Poor food quality (taste) Unprofessional...
Read moreMy luck with KFC in Kerala is just getting worse. Today I ordered the classic chicken with rice for my son when they said they didnt have the popcorn cchicken, and after a 20+ minute wait, they had my order ready. Unfortunately I ordered take away and it's only when I reached home that I discovered the chicken was missing in the rice. Cannot call the restaurant as the number listed on their site is switched off. See the packaging.... there was no lid on the bowl either and it was just kept open inside their box!! Just terrible!! There were hardly any customers, and the sleepy tall guy who was preparing the food had ample time to get a simple...
