Smatchet Deli — Restaurant in Kerala

A friend recommended this to me a day ago and I checked out the menu and was looking for an opportunity to try it out. The pork meatball sub is what I went for and I was real happy with what I received. Look at all that meat! I went for the Herbed chicken sub too and that probably was the best sub i have had in a long long time. The Beef steak "Philly style" sub was delightful and had me thinking, I could get addicted. The steak is brined which makes it unique. The Pastrami sub was "sub"-lime as well with good flavours and meaty goodness. The Zucchini and Mushroom Piada was a bit smaller. But very nice as well. The combo of sauces I go for always have the Smatchet firecracker sauce and cheese sauce. Every food store can try serving better dishes but a one with better customer service is what is more makes a person feel walk in there again or share with a next close person about. I've had a bitter experience waiting too long for a delivery 3 days back but waited as I done my payment. I was provided my take away food very late Even the people who walked in after me could get additional orders served for themselves. Tonight I walked in again to make sure previous butter experience I had might be a situational thing. This time I ordered for loaded fries wherein I was told they don't have anymore loaded fries and 2 more folks got the same thing served now when I'm posting this review. The staffs are least bothered.

Great subs (and more). Top notch quality. Quantity and quality perfect. I ordered two chicken subs and I was real happy with what I received. Look at all that meat! I went for the Herbed chicken sub and that probably was the best sub i have had in a long long time. They put generous fillings. I always go for onions olives and gherkins. They have legit cheese options like cherry mozzarella, feta , Gouda etc. They even have a variety of sauces. The Smatchet firecracker sauce is something you have to try and they make it in-house just like most of their deli cut meats. Their food is mouth watering and the quality is simply terrific!!

Only thing I would want to see here is comfortable seating. It’s so difficult to balance on the stools while enjoying that...
