Latin Street Restaurant offers a diverse dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and here's a detailed review.
The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the chicken wings. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, delivering a delightful burst of flavors with each bite. The combination of spices used created a unique and memorable taste that sets their wings apart.
The cheesecake was another standout item on the menu. Creamy, rich, and indulgent, it was a delightful way to satisfy my sweet tooth. The dessert selection at Latin Street is impressive, and the cheesecake is a must-try for anyone with a love for decadent treats.
On the flip side, the gnocchi arrabiata pasta didn't quite live up to expectations. The flavors felt a bit underwhelming, and the texture of the gnocchi didn't match the standard set by the other dishes. It's worth considering other options on the menu if you're a pasta enthusiast.
Unfortunately, we missed out on trying the hookah, as it was unavailable during our visit. This was a bit disappointing, but it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. I recommend checking in advance if you're specifically interested in trying the hookah.
The restaurant's ambiance adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The vibrant decor and lively atmosphere create a welcoming space for diners. Whether you're there for a casual meal with friends or a more intimate setting, the ambiance complements the diverse menu offerings.
I also had the opportunity to try the turmeric tea, and it was a pleasant surprise. The warm and comforting notes of turmeric blended well with the other spices, making it a soothing choice, especially if you're looking for a non-alcoholic beverage option.
In conclusion, Latin Street Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey with standout dishes like the chicken wings and cheesecake. While the gnocchi arrabiata pasta fell short, the overall experience, including the inviting ambiance and flavorful turmeric tea, makes this restaurant a worthy choice for those seeking a diverse and enjoyable...
Read moreLatin Street is one of our regular haunts. We have been visiting this restaurant for the last two years + and have been impressed with the quality and their consistency.
The décor is very aesthetically done, the rustic vibes and vibrant colors had us taking clicks of nooks and corners
Getting down to business, we have tried the French fries, Beef Quesadilla, Tacos, Chicken Wings, Burgers and the steaks. The food was really good, with each dish having a very unique flavor profile. The beef here was the highlight, even the beef in the quesadilla and the tacos have the slow cooked pulled beef, which is very flavorful.
The steaks here are arguably the best I've had in India by a stretch. If you order the steaks the chef comes out to explain about the cut and serve you, with an unexpected surprise at the end (you've been warned!). Do ask the server for what level of doneness they recommend for each cut and you will not be disappointed. The chimichurri and smashed baby potatoes go very well with the steak.
Coming to the desserts, we have tried the Tiramisu and the Churros. Both were very well made, I would recommend trying the churros as they are made fresh and served piping hot.
The staff were courteous and helpful and we were always well attended to.
PS - The place is tucked away from the main road and is easy to miss, Google Maps has the correct...
Read moreFound this restaurant very recently and went here twice : Pros : Excellent Service from all the staff, always willing to serve you with a pleasant smile. Ordered the" Enchiladas Con Pollo "(230 rs) it was really great and the quantity is filling for two people. *" Birria Quesadilla Beef" ( 165 rs) is a must try if you are looking for a quick snack. " Tacos De Carne Asada" (300 rs) is another brilliant item which I liked here. The steak filling was a great combination. " The Rib Eye Steak" is thier specialty dish but if you are fond of that typical nadan spicy meat then this might not be the best dish for you..However if you want the most authentic Beef Steak here in kozhikode this is a definite must try. *Tried the " Witches Blood " Cocktail and found it surprisingly good. Near the beach and less crowd during the week days if you need more privacy. They will explain you the menu and would suggest what food might best suit your needs.
Cons : Parking can be tricky due to less space. The music was sometimes loud. Providing a larger plate at the table would be appreciated, the current one is small. Providing warm water instead of bottled mineral water would be...
