New Idam kitchen Palakkad — Restaurant in Kerala

Very very bad attitude, that I visit idam kitchen with family. Time was about 2.30pm some (only few) peoples are there for lunch. We are very hungry and take a seat of 6 actually we are 3 include my kid. The people saying that don’t sit there please wait for some time and we will give another seat of 4. If they requested politely no problem(it’s main reason to put this review), Treating like street dogs. Because of my parents I didn’t use any bad words to those people. I know very well that their parents teach them how to behave good. So I walked out with hungry n angry toooo.

Note: 1. There is another more table like this that’s free and no that much people waiting there. (We didn’t sit in others table) Idam is not only a restaurant there in palakkad, it’s only 1 among 15- 20 restaurant nearby You spolied a day with hungry Teach your staff how to behave in restaurant also in their family tooo

Worst experience ever. Never ever...

My first and definitely last visit to ഇടം Restaurant, Palakkad – and unfortunately, I made the mistake of bringing my parents and kids along.

We ordered porotta, the so-called Chef’s Special Chicken Curry, and beef varattu. What arrived was nothing short of a disaster. The chicken was undercooked and borderline raw, posing a serious health risk. The beef varattu was so over-fried it felt like chewing old rubber – I seriously doubt it was even fresh.

The worst part? All of us fell sick that night. Vomiting, stomach pain, and a long, sleepless night for the entire family due to what was clearly food poisoning.

This place is an absolute no-go for anyone who values hygiene, quality, or basic food safety. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. But if you’re still curious, be warned: you’re gambling with...

The worst dining establishment encounter.Idam Palakkad was one of my favorite non-vegetarian restaurants. I was a frequent customer who used to go there virtually every week with friends and family. I had even given them good reviews in the past by expressing my gratitude, but in the last few visits, I had a very negative experience.

2nd time the attitude and service of the staff was very bad and even they were not updated about what food they .are having and what they can serve .I placed orders for about five different dishes from the menu, and it took them 30 minutes to let me know if they were all the same.
