Paris Restaurant (old) is a popular restaurant in Thalassery, Kerala, known for its delicious biryani and strong tea. The restaurant has been around for over 50 years, and it is a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

For my main course, I had the Thalassery biryani, which was absolutely delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly, the spices were perfectly balanced, and the meat was tender and flavorful.

The tea at Paris Restaurant is also very good. It is made with fresh tea leaves and is served with a generous amount of milk and sugar. The tea is strong and flavorful, and it is the perfect way to start or end a meal.

The atmosphere at Paris Restaurant is warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional Kerala style, with wooden furniture and tiled floors.

The service at Paris Restaurant (old) was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. He also gave us some great recommendations for dishes.

Overall, Paris Restaurant (old) is a great place to go for a delicious and authentic Thalassery meal. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the atmosphere is charming. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thalassery.

Here are some tips:

Make a reservation, especially if you are dining on a weekend. Order the Thalassery biryani for your main course. Save room for dessert! The gulab jamun is amazing. Be prepared to pay a bit more for your meal.

I hope this review helps you decide if Paris Restaurant (old) is the right...

✅Paris Restaurant: A Taste of Tradition Since 1942✅ Located near Thalassery Sea Drive and the graffiti street, Paris Restaurant is one of the oldest culinary landmarks in the region, established in 1942. Known for its iconic Thalassery biryani, it remains a bustling spot frequented by locals for quick traditional snacks, tea, tiffins, and biryani. Our Experience: We visited for an early dinner after sunset. The place was lively and crowded, with a lot of staff ensuring swift service. However, the restaurant is a completely enclosed space, and the lack of proper ventilation made it feel a bit stuffy. Hospitality: The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, engaging us in conversation about our travels and wishing us well. The staff, primarily seasoned senior members, were attentive and efficient, ensuring a fast dining experience. What We Tried: Thalassery Biryani: While I’m not usually a fan of Thalassery biryani, their version impressed me with its distinct and subtle flavors. A must-try for biryani enthusiasts! Parotta & Curries: The parottas were soft and flaky, paired perfectly with flavorful chicken and mutton curries. Dosa: soft but not hot, still complemented well by the curries. Overall: The dishes were flavorful, and the prices were very budget-friendly. If you’re in Thalassery, this restaurant is worth a visit for its historical significance, warm hospitality, and authentic local cuisine.
