I frequent Ramees Restaurant whenever I crave delicious food in Kochi. Located just opposite Forum Mall, it's a convenient spot for a satisfying meal. The ambiance is inviting, with well-designed interiors perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
The food here is the highlight of my visits. From the flavorful Biryani to the tantalizing Arabic shots and special rice items, every dish is a treat for the taste buds. On my last visit, I started with the spicy yet comforting Hot and Sour Soup, followed by the mouthwatering Beef Bellari Rice, Fried Rice, Kozhi Pottitherichath, and Chilly Chicken. The Beef Bellari Rice is a must-try; its taste stands out even without any accompanying gravies or curries. Drinks like Four Seasons and Lime were refreshing companions to the meal, although I must admit the bill for a single person tends to hover around 500-550 rupees.
While the food consistently impresses, I've noticed some room for improvement in the service department. The staff could be more attentive and proactive in addressing customer needs. However, their politeness and friendliness make up for it to some extent. It would be great if they showed more initiative in ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Overall, Ramees Restaurant earns a solid 4-star rating from me. The music adds to the pleasant ambiance, and the cleanliness and spacious dining area make it an enjoyable place to dine. A colleague recommended this gem to me, and I'm grateful for the suggestion. The Chicken Cheese Roll, Jellikettu Kozhi, Dragon Chicken, and Kerala Parotta were all delicious highlights of my meal, although the porotta could have been fresher. The pricing is reasonable, considering the quality of food and service offered.
In summary, Ramees Restaurant is a go-to spot in Kochi for scrumptious food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's worth a visit for a satisfying...
Read moreWorst experience with regards to service mainly. It could be one of those days, but it was a horrible experience for me & family. I had visited this restaurant earlier and was happy with the service & food served, however this experience made me decide not to visit there again.
First of all, the AC was not turned on, in one of their dining hall. They turned it on after we mentioned it to someone who rejected us to use one of the tables in another hall where AC was turned on. I could literally see guests (including us) sweating. Secondly, they weren't friendly when it came to responding and we had to make some guesses to reach a decision. Giving half answers were definitely not helping us. Thirdly, about quality, some of the items weren't available (which includes biriyani too) for dinner (we went at around 8 pm). Hence, we had to order from those that were available, but quality was not up to the mark. The fried beef was just dry, and we couldn't eat it. Alfam was prepared well and it was tasty. Rest was just fine, no complaints. However, they could re-check their quantity for certain items as I felt it was way lesser for the price. The security in the parking lot was very friendly and helpful. In terms of service, they did not have an intention to help the customers, rather they were going by books. Take orders from the menu and provide a bill. Had to request to get drinking water a couple of times as well.
Note: The moment we were done, a vlogger occupied the table who was given a VIP treatment! It's fine, but the management should also care for other customers. We also saw one of the customers who came with his family (including a child) shouting at them in the billing area. Someone came and apologised after that, which was a right move, however those situations could have been avoided.
Overall, as I said earlier, it may be one of those days. But the brand value can be maintained only if they have a...
