Vasantha Bhavan Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

First time when we went at 10AM only poori was available and the poori was very sour. I have heard dosa turning sour but poori.. I assume the dough was made the previous day. It is not fresh and neither it is wheat atta. Hope food Inspection team check this hotel once. I'm very sure it not giving customers fresh food. At noon we went again thinking atleast meals will be good and waited for more than 20 mins but nobody attended our table. Then when we asked one of the servers (very politely) he yelled at us to wait. I'm not sure if they think themselves serving free food. I even said the billing person and he doesn't seem to care. He showed another person in kitchen and asked to tell him. Not sure if the workers are ever paid ( that's how they react to customers showing all their frustration) .I don't think a hotel like this will sustain if they treat customers like this. If you can't provide food to a customer politely please get out of this business. You are not fit for this job. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other good hotels nearby...

Today I happened to be in VASANTHA BHAVAN (VEG RESTAURANT) near East Nada, Guruvayur, and had a disappointing experience. The food was subpar at best. The dishes lacked flavor and tasted bland. The vegetables were Not Cooked.

To make matters worse, the service was abysmal. The staff was inattentive and rude. It took forever for our order to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. When we raised our concerns, the response was dismissive and unhelpful.And Lastly had to raise it to the person at bill counter and he came up for the order and service. Infact no service boy showed up at our table.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of other options in the area that offer better food...

Visited this hotel at Guruvayur on 22.08.2023 for lunch. Food is decently served and the cost is only Rs.130/-. Although the reviews for tiffin items are on the negative side, lunch is an exception. Avial, Sambar, Rasam, Beetroot porial, Payasam and the quality of rice is excellent. Never had a good food at this cost. Served on a Banana leaf, and all are tasty. As it is located on a side lane with no vantage board no rush for lunch. We went to a different restaurant on East Nada and because of the crowd there we visited this place. Every thing is clean and neatly maintained and the Servers are neat and clean. My wife who is an adept in cooking admired the food . Thank you team and all the very best. Go, see and...
