Wolkano Creamery — Restaurant in Kerala

Ok! So there's Pastry that you just eat, then there's d one that U munch and finally the Pastries that U enjoy every spoon. Wolkano falls in the 3rd category. My review about Wolkano is after 3rd visit and every time it's amazing.

Ambience: The interior has a luxury feel as their Ice Creams & Pastries. They also have a small family room which is really awesome.

Ice Creams: As they provide option to try everything, we took Cookie Caramel, Wild Berry Cheese Cake, Fudge Brownie, Brownie Fest. Pastries: Crumble Carotty, Signature Apple, Hazelnut Bliss, Biscaramel Cheese Cake (Hope named right)

Review: Every ice creams we took were amazing. My Fav is Cookie Caramel as it has that yummyness in it. Berry Cheese Cake is my wife's fav. Every ice cream we tried had everything the name says. I wanted to have a scoop of Honey Lavender, but after tasting I was sure to get intoxicated. I mean it had such a rich taste that one cannot have a scoop full. (My feeling) Even their Cones tasted different from the others that we had tried.

Now their beautiful Pastries. These things are so well presented that one just feel to shoot pictures than taste the same🤣 I had seen these presentations in 5* Hotels and never expected a Pastry outlet to have such beauty. With regards to taste No words. The Carotty had such rich cream cheese that I was just enjoying every spoon. I was very much skeptical about Signature Apple as I don't like Apple flavor in cakes or Pastries. But to my surprise it was totally different. Hazelnut Bliss, Biscaramel Cheese Cake is heavenly.

Verdict: Everything that we tried did not let us down. Every item had its own Signature taste attached to it. Be it Pastries or Ice Creams. Pastries look a bit pricy and less in quantity, but hey! that's what the Pastries are. You don't eat as meal but feel richness & taste in every spoon😊 Finally, The thing that surprised and delighted us was the Chef Sairam. He was very polite in dealing, patient in listening to our suggestions, and very much humble to explain every quality ingredients used. Every visit of ours was welcomed by a pleasant smile from the chef & staff. Wolkano is indeed a place to visit again, again nd again..

One of the best dessert shops I have come across in kerala in terms of high standard design and varieties of pastries they provide here.The place itself looks very neat and tidy and has a great instagrammic look. They provide different kinds of ice creams which we usually dont get in any other normal ice cream shops such as honey lavender,brazillian coffee,caramel popcorn and many more. Their pastries are of high quality and standard and look very very beautiful, the beauty of pastries cannot go without appreciation it really deserves it!

I havent seen any other shops with such beautiful looking pastries and desserts so far in kerala and this is my first experience here in wolkano creamery.

First we tried their ice creams that is wild berries which was really smooth and the berries inside them made it taste really good and then we tried their caramel popcorn which was really delicious I personally loved it,it had bits of crunchy popcorns inside it which made it even better.

Then we tried their pastries,we tried first their Hazelnut Bliss which was superb! I loved the hazelnut bliss with the whole texture,crunchiness it looked very good too. Then we tried their strawberry mania which looked like a beautiful red heart with gold foil on top and it tasted sweet,creamy and there was strawberry jam inside.Overall strawberry mania was not really to the point I would say it was an average it didnt give me the hype of that look.

Then we tried their signature apple pastry which was a definite killer! The small biscuit layer along with cream on top and white chocolate and the small cut apple filling inside the pastry everything together was just perfect!It was really delicious.

Lastly we had told them to parcel away the Love forest pastry and their packaging has to be mentioned it was of really top standard the packaging,the cover also well done!

Love forest looked very dreamylike with a red heart on top and it had a base of oreo layer along with berries and chocolate and it tasted a little bit salty along with chocolate and berries it was simply too good.

Overall I really recommend this place to eat some really good standard pastries...
