I had ordered Dal Tadka, Kadhai Paneer, tandoori roti.
Dal tadka was pathetic. My wife scooped out 1 bowl of oil from the dal tadka. Dal tadka was like dal + kadhi tadka. They don’t know how to make dal. Please YouTube the recipe before serving it to customers.
Paneer Kadhai was terrible. They don’t know how to cook Kadhai paneer.
They add curd to every thing be it dal, paneer everything.
Tandoori roti wasn’t cooked properly. After coming back from this restaurant my wife and I vomited the food and ate curd rice from our hotel.
Please please avoid this restaurant. They claim to be authentic North Indian restaurant running for last 42 years. But they don’t know how to cook food and how to run a restaurant if I may say.
My dog eats better food than what they serve in this restaurant. Eat at your own risk.
Waiter and owner are very rude and not willing to accept mistake that...

Read moreFound a cockroach in jeera rice !! Believe me this is the worst place you want to be in Kodaikanal for food. This place is run by a Bengali owner who's very adamant even when we showed proof about the cockroach we found in rice. Here's what his reply was - you found cockroach in rice but not in other things, you should have just avoided the rice and continued with the rest of the food.
Even if we ignore this cockroach incident, the food was not even worth mentioning. When you come here this place welcomes you with a sign board as "PUNJABI DHABBA". Literally it's a DHABBA - a blot.
I know it's tough to find north Indian food in South, but believe me...
