Chili's is a classic American Dine-in and they have introduced their "Chef's Cut Menu". In this, they are serving some exotic Tex-Mexican delicacies at a very affordable range. They have tried to create a mini American setup through the ambience of this beautiful property. So, this menu consists of the following delicacies: Starters: Tried the Onion Rings which had rings of onions layered with cheese and the coated with a batter and bread crumbs and shallow or air fried until it gets Crispy. Was served with coleslaw and mayonnaise. Coming to the next dish, the Smoked Chicken in particular, was exquisite. Tender and juicy chicken wings having a charred outer texture which makes it even more delectable. Main course: The Grill Chicken Breast was served with a mild herbed rice and a delightful fondue sauce. The chicken was quite soft, which flavours being infused till the very core making the whole dish even more appetizing. Grilled Chicken Leg-piece was the star of the show. A super soft leg piece, glazed with butter and honey and topped with herbs is a more substantial and refined version of whole legs usually served with sauteed vegetables, mashed potatoes and a thick, sour chilli sauce. Non-veg Ultimate Dipper is something, Chili's is known to be famous for!! The platter consists of Chicken Crispers, Boneless Chicken Wings, Country Fried Crispers & Southwestern Eggrolls. This supreme platter is enough to kill the hunger pangs of two people and will definitely satisfy your nonveg cravings all at one go! Dessert: To keep the taste palate intact with the American cuisine, a cheesecake is what they serve as their ultimatum. A smooth textured cheesecake, prepared in New York style with a Graham cracker layer and then a layer of the dense cheesecake. What I loved the most was that, the cheesecake wasn't too sweet for my taste palate. Done raspberry sauce was used as a garnish. And for the Smoothies, they have: Banana & Caramel Smoothie. Orange & Mango Smoothie. Strawberry Smoothie. Mixed Berry Smoothie. Hands down, their smoothies are definitely one of the best smoothies that I have ever tasted in recent times. So thick that it couldn't have been slurpped with the thick straws. It was really creamy and infused perfectly with the flavours that the claim it to be. The flavour was spot on! Neither to milky nor too syrup-y. My personal favorite smoothie, unquestionably would be the orange and mango smoothie. It had a perfect balanced flavour of orange as well as mango and I haven't had such a beautiful combination of the summer & the winter fruit flavours before. To have a great dining experience with some exotic bonne bouche, and a classy and scintillating ambience, make sure you drop in at @ , Acropolis. And don't forget to try their luscious...
Read moreChillis is very popular among rich youth and I wanted to visit them for long time. Finally got a chance and found when you're rich you lose the sense of taste buds.
Staffs here are careless, has attitude and they respond after multiple calls.
The way this brand markets I was expecting fine dine experience but the vibe was very ordinary. Then why people visit them? for the ambiance? Nah! it’s very basic too. I ordered their specialty items as mentioned on menu.
Cajun Chicken Pasta @ Rs.585 (4/5) Well done penne cooked in creamy sauce that has cashew flavour and served with a garlic bread. Surprisingly the chicken wasn't cooked with the pasta, a grilled slice of chicken breast was put on top of the pasta, it was flavourless but the pasta tasted nice. I like some bell peppers and black olive in pasta but unfortunately this had no veggies. Still, I was quite impressed with the pasta.
Grilled Chicken Sizzling Fajitas @ Rs.595 (1/5) It was sizzler in their style served with 3 Maida made rotis. I swear this is the worst sizzler I've ever tried in my life.
What I understood is that they have few cuts of chicken breast and they put the exact same thing in every dish. Just burned onion and capsicum and the same chicken breast present on pasta, that's all. The chicken breast doesn't have any taste, the onion and capsicum tasted bitter. You're supposed to wrap that in the bread with some condiments, I mean "Isse wahiyat dish maine zindagi mein nahi dekha".
Their molten chocolate desserts are very popular but I disliked this dish so much that I even cancelled the dessert order.
Conclusion Some people like expensive sophisticated things that might have no values and Chilli's targeted audience are those people. Some clicks here on social media, tagging this place to make people think you've a class and you're able to afford expensive places. Apart from that this place makes no sense, the ambiance, service and the food nothing is special.
If you really want to explore American and continental cuisine then visit legendary places like TGI's, Mocambo, Peter Cat etc, they serve thousand times better food...
Read moreIt was probably mid-2014 when I visited Chili's for the first time. They had just opened their first outlet at Quest Mall near Park Circus. To be honest, it was one of the poorest dining experiences for our entire group. None of us could decide on the menu properly—we were completely clueless! Ever since then, I had strongly refused to visit Chili's again. However, after 11 long years, I don’t know whether it’s our taste buds that have evolved or they’ve made some major changes to their menu, but I visited twice this year, and I must admit—the experience turned 180°!
This time, we visited on a Tuesday late evening, and it wasn’t too busy. We were welcomed at our table by "Kanai," our server.
Here’s what we ordered:
Crispy Chicken with Texas Sauce Comes in 6 large pieces, enough for 3 people with moderate appetites as a starter. Price: ₹595
Grilled Chicken Burger with Bacon The burger can be customized—egg can be added as well. It’s served with French fries. Price: ₹595
Red Pepper Chicken A grilled chicken breast topped with cheese and red pepper cream sauce. There was a buy-1-get-1 (BOGO) offer, so we paired this with the burger. Price: ₹595
Teacher's Highland Cream This also had a BOGO offer, so we ordered 2 x 60ml. Price: ₹370
Brownie Sundae We didn’t actually order this, but due to a mistake in serving the burger, we informed "Uttam," who not only replaced it immediately with a fresh burger (and added mashed potato this time), but also offered this dessert complimentary! Price: ₹370
We were so full by the end that we even packed the burger with the mashed potato.
We were simply overwhelmed by the top-notch hospitality and service provided by Uttam and Kanai!
Minor Note: The toilet had a foul smell, and the washbasin splashed water. I’m sure this will be addressed soon.
Overall, it was an incredible dining experience with superb food and impeccable service. I will definitely revisit and strongly recommend it!
