Chowman (Broad Street) — Restaurant in Kolkata

Worst family dinner ever had today, waiting for more than 1 hr outside after which took 15-20 mins more to prepare the table. Order taken for first 3 thumps up & 2 mocktails alongwith with starter. Thumps up & starter served, even after completion of the same mocktails could not be made ready...it was so much delay that ultimately we cancelled the mocktails orders & packed the main course. Egg chicken fried rice taken was like steam rice no trace of spring onion....chicken mushroom preparation contained hardly 3 pcs mushroom.... Extremely poor service...it looks that cooks are much busy to clear online orders rather to serve the persons sitting in the restaurant... Very very bad experience...should not take orders when there is ingredients...

Very bad experience today (29th April around 2 PM). Food quality extremely BAD!!! Expired rotten chicken found in cooked food and restaurant agreed and apologized and asked to be excused for the mistake (they are simply sorry!!!). Ordered chilly chicken gravy where chicken piece was rotten. Even if one piece is rotten the other pieces can be rotten as well. One cannot take chances in FOOD QUALITY!!! If the concerned Chef is not able to make out what is fresh product and what is rotten before cooking that food, then it's very alarming indeed!! Simply put this is just not acceptable!! Highly Avoidable place. Chowman is loosing...

I had a terrible experience at chowman broad street. I ordered crispy lamb online, but when the dish arrived, it was mixed with crispy corn, which was not mentioned in the description. I politely brought this to the waiter's attention, expecting a simple solution, but instead, the waiter shouted at me and behaved very rudely. His attitude was completely unacceptable, and it ruined our dining experience. If this is how they treat their customers, I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
