I have recently visited this boutique hotel in Bhawanipore named as The Opus. It has this in house fine dining resturant which serves great food. The Ambiance is cosy . The decor is quiet simply. There are elaborate seating arrangement. Starters- âĸYakitori paneer- It tastes amazing. The paneer is soft and delicate. The spices hit you at right points and there is a burst of flavor. âĸDynamite chicken- soft tender Chicken . Tastes great and the quality is good enough. âĸThe Royal courtyard special seekh kebab- it was a 2 layered kebab. The meat almost melted in my mouth. Must try. âĸdragon roll- great options for vegetarians. This roll is crunchy on the outside and has a wholesome filling on the inside. Mocktails- ( must try) âĸPinacolada-subtly sweet and had a very lovely presentation. âĸchat ka mary- it had guava in it and had chillis which gives you the hint of hotness . Main course- Those who likes spicy food You can definitely try out the- Chilly garlic Noodles , bang bang chicken and Devil's choice. They are extremely spicy and so please keep a check on this while ordering. Great options for spice lovers though. âĸegg wrap Rice- looks very fancy and classy. The presentation was amazing. âĸMurg sasdagee- the chicken was amazingly cooked. The curry was amazing. Went very well with the rice. âĸDesi videsi sabzi- typical north indian mixed veg sabzi. Very good option for vegetarians. âĸAdrak Mircha Roti- Definitely try this out. Very unique to this place. It has stuffing on the inside.    Read moreDuring our visit on 2nd April 2025 we ordered egg fried rice, pan-fried chilli fish, and a Coke. Unfortunately, we encountered a series of issues that I feel must be addressed.
Firstly, when the Coke was served, we discovered flies inside the drink. Upon showing this to the manager, there was no genuine concern, and he simply instructed staff to replace the drink. However, when the replacement drink arrived, it was the same drink with the flies removed, not a fresh one.
Next, when the food arrived, we found dead mosquitoes in the fried rice. Upon raising this issue with the staff, the explanation provided was that the mosquitoes may have "fallen into the food while eating," which seems an entirely unreasonable and dismissive excuse. Should we now be expected to use a mosquito net while dining?
Despite these unsanitary conditions, the staff did not show any serious concern or attempt to resolve the matter appropriately. Instead, they simply brought us the bill without addressing our...

It had vanilla ice cream on the top. âĸ Royal courtyard special seekh kebab(5/5) highly recommended - A must try if you are visiting this place. It tasted awesome. It is a mutton kebab with an outer layer of chicken. âĸ dragon roll (5/5) Highly recommended - It was cheesy from inside and the outer layer was crispy. âĸVeg chilli garlic noodles - It was not too spicy. âĸbang bang chicken - it tasted good with the noodles. âĸDevil's choice - As the name suggests, it is perfect for people who love spicy food. âĸDarsaan with ice cream - Darsaan is one of my favourite desserts.
