Today like never before we had a Very Very Poor Experience at Pabrai'sFresh & Naturelle, Sarat Bose Road Outlet. We had gone for an as usual Dine-In facility of Icecream with our family and kids. We had asked the service boy's for our desired Icecream which before they served they recited us the Bill Amount and asked us to pay. I had never felt so bad and poorly experienced before this kind of behaviour at Pabrai's. The recitation of the Bill Amount even before we ate the Dessert made us feel so bad at heart tas if we could not afford the Value of the Icecream. In this regard it should be noted that this kind of behaviour was not at all expected and is totally unacceptable, at the least for any Dine-in Service offered. Never before did this kind of behaviour or experience was felt at the Diner. When we confronted about this Poor Behaviour the Manager, instead of rectifying for his Suboordinate's mistake started defending him. It should at the least be noted that it was the Service for "Dine-In Facility" that we were taking and not the "Take-Away Facility" which forced them to start reciting the Bill Amount and indirectly asking for Payments. I would also like to share the fact herein that during the recent Durga Puja Festival we had gone to our Relative's house in Kasba Area wherein while driving we had stopped by their Kasba Branch Diner and had both Dined as well as taken away Dessert's worth Rs.1000/- from them. While dining even their we were not asked for payments directly or indirectly by reciting the Bill Amount. But today was worse. Here it may please be noted that we had even rightly pointed out our bitter and poor experience with behaviour to the Shop Owner Mr.Anuvrat Pabrai who after patiently listening to us was only justifying this experience with his reasoning and comparing the demand of money beforehand with the policy of "KFC" and "Mc Donalds". He did forget to understand the fact that we had gone for a Dine-In Facility wherein money could be demanded after patiently waiting for the Customer to finish his food. Which was even our Regular Experience till date at their Eatery. Unlike Pabrai's Fresh and Naturelle which is a National Brand it may please be noted that KFC and Mc Donalds are International Brands and have their policy defined unlike any other country's outlet. No doubt each company has its own policy and strategy defined but being a Regular Customer and even preferring their Icecream before the Well known Brands and Kwality Walls and Amul this was totally an unexpected and poor experience on our part. We did not really expect such poor behaviour of demand for money beforehand for a Dine-In Facility. No matter how much big brands one is but their should be a minimum courtesy and patience of demanding the money from a Customer after him having his food at least for a Dine-In. Lastly on behalf of my family I would also like to point out on behalf of my family that we had even mentioned our aggression in way of disappointment by Committing to Mr. Pabrai (Senior) that after this experience we would never attend his outlets ever with or without family but he seemed reluctant to his own reason of comparison. In this Customer Oriented Market we strongly feel that he should have taken a rightful decision of being patient enough to demand money after consumption of food at the least foe Dine-In instead of defending and comparing his policy with International brands. Thus our Family's and Mine Experience in particular of the fact of being a Regular Diner and an Undivided Trustful Customer to a Particular Brand as Pabrai's doesnot count at least for the Pabrai's Fresh...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's an ice-cream with twists. If you love ice-cream then this place is heaven for you. If you don't love ice-cream you will fall in love after you test here once. Natural ingredients and lots of experiments. The hugh line of flavours is overwhelming! Among which the Indian and the natural fruits flavours are the usp. A new visitor will have difficult time to zero in one flavour. The quality, the variety, the test are just awesome. Apparently you might think items are over priced but after you test your thinking will be dissolved like ice-cream. Among the long list of mouth watering items l love nolen gurer ice-cream, chocolate brownie, coconut ice-cream the most. Apart from the ice-cream the staffs here are friendly. The decor is very nice. The ambience is bright modern and colourful, typical of an ice-cream parlour. The space is large . A space on the wall carries patrons feedback on sticky notes. That's cool and imaginative. The shop is open from 11 am to 1 am, seven days a week with exception of 1 hour extra on Saturday and Sunday. It is located beside the main road. So it can be easily found out. So yes.. Full marks to pabrai.. Definitely it is going to be my frequently visited place. Looking forward to test all the items...

It was an ABSOLUTE YES from Ayan Da!! After quite some time I was finally successful of visiting this place. However on that day, 15.06.2016 which is damn special day for us we were coming from a restaurant which till date I've given the lowest rating on Zomato (1.5, Sharma Dhaba) with a pathetic experience.!!!!!
Well my mood changed instantly with their SERVICES! While I was confused with which one to take as I didn't had any sort of experience with such Versatile and Various flavours of Ice cream, they offered me to taste many flavours without any cost!
