Long Review:

We went here as family of 6adults & 4 children! One of the waiter told us that first floor is for AC dining & ground floor was non ac. Seldom we realise that the AC was running, we choose to stick in ground floor. Later we realized 1st floor for meals and ground floor is for variety rice! It took sometime for us to find seats and that too not in adjacent tables. The waiters were busy in talking themself and no one came near by. We called a waiter after say 5 mins then asked for mini meals and he said they only have veg Biriyani, tomato rice, sambar rice and curd rice. Later we saw some people having mini meals!! The serving time was say 20seconds from order because all are readymade! But lots of the customers were waiting to give orders. Because the waiters were always busy in talking!! The veg Biriyani costed whooping ₹140 and its totally worthless. While we eat no one came to asky what else you need!! The tumblers were smelling vim bar totally which forced us to share our kid's water! Of course we served/tried the vim tumbler ourself! At last we realized they had kuzhi paniyaram, vada, kozhukkattai etc... None asked us or even for the children. We had to find the waiter and plead him for the bill!! After we paid the bill, we were waiting for other members in an another table to finish, at that time, the waiter for our table found us! He came and asked us that whether we have ordered already! I just replied "Yes, we have ordered, had and also paid for the food"

Worst Food Experience at Ananda Bhawan, Villakuthoon, Madurai – Totally Disgusted and Furious!

We visited Ananda Bhawan at Villakuthoon, Madurai, and ordered Dosa and Pongal. What we were served was absolutely shocking and unacceptable.

The Dosa batter was extremely sour—so much that we couldn't even take a proper bite. It was spoiled beyond imagination—we have never tasted anything this disgusting in our lives. When we complained, the server brought another dosa, claiming it was made from fresh batter. But the same foul sourness remained. Clearly, they were just re-serving the same bad food without any concern.

The Pongal tasted like it had been cooked in the morning and simply reheated. There was no freshness, no flavour, and zero quality. It was like eating leftovers from hours ago.

To make it worse, the rates were ridiculously high for such terrible and unhygienic food. It’s an absolute scam to charge customers so much and serve stale, low-grade items that are not even safe to eat. After eating, we suffered from severe acidity, vomiting, and food poisoning symptoms throughout the night. We couldn’t even sleep due to the discomfort.

Ananda Bhawan used to be a trusted name—but this branch is a complete disgrace. They are cheating customers, serving old food, charging high prices, and risking people's health. We will never step foot in this...

Very worst experience I had yesterday we walked almost 2 kms in search of good restaurant and reached to have our meal here but when we dine in the service provided by there waites are utter waste , when we asked them to clean the table and provide us meal they were saying were rudely that it will take time to cleaner to clean table they says it's north Indians who will come to clean table it will take time .I asked them that please provide us 2 meals as soon as u can we were too much hungry, those employees in 2nd floor males they are just replying wi6 harsh voice u have to wait what are u going to have 5 to 6 meals no right then wait and they are laughing at customers us,in before people who sat in our table they too shouted at A2B employees for not providing dishes and they walk out. Just for brand sake people please don't go to this madurai A2B branch they treat customers something like garbage . Worst experience in Madurai to have food ,it's better to have food in small shops than coming here and eating in view of brand name. I think the hotel management should take action against this male staffs in 2nd floor, I didn't carry my mob otherwise I would have taken pics of their faces and their rude ved and...
