I had jigarthanda here.You can find many jigarthanda shops in madurai as it is famous.But finding an authentic shop is a tough one. There are 2 types of jigarthanda served most common.Normal jigarthanda and special jigarthanda.Apart from jigarthanda, there are snacks,tea,coffee and juices.But they are available at timely basis.Jigarthanda will be available across business hours. The jigarthanda tasted quite good.Since this shop is located near to the temple,you can have a nice jigarthanda after long shopping or dharshan.

This is the oldest shop serving Jigarthanda in Madurai. A friend volunteered to take us to try.

It was little too sweet for my preference but one of the best ones I've tried. If you are around please do try.

This shop is a small shop on road and after getting your Jigarthanda you can go to next door where they have made arrangements for people to sit and have the drink. I liked it and would highly...
