JKANS Foods — Restaurant in Madurai

We visited for a late night dinner as it was almost 10.30 when we reached there after all the shopping. Decided to try that place for the rating they got on Google and also as our temple visits were over and returning the next day to our hometown. But our experience was just average. Biriyanis were served in casserols but it was not hot!. We tried chicken rice and it was delicious. Also tried the thandoori but it was average experience. There was no drinks of any kind available except normal drinking water and had to go out and buy a sprite to quench ur thirst. That's not a good dining experience. This is an economical eatery place at Madurai. Resturant situated at the end of a crowded street and it's bit congested, yet you get parking spots near to this place - you really need to be very careful about parking cars.

The ambience is mediocre, as they have utilised most of their space for dining. Non-veg options are affordable and satisfying. They provide unlimited mayonnaise - perhaps I have never seen a resturant doing that!

Not much delay in service even when all the tables are occupied. You could try their shawarma - grilled chicken - fried rice combos - which is pocket friendly and satisfying for two people. We tried paneer butter masala, but the taste was bit different from what it had to be, so not...

We came for lunch and the menu items we selected for us were not available during that time, as they said it would be prepared and served after 7 in the evening. Only certain limited food items were served and had no options to choose from.

We opted for Gravy items if there were any, as having just fried rice is not sufficient, for that too they didn't had any options.
