Aloha - The Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Maharashtra

What attracted me to Aloha--the tiki bar is it's great location inside the premises of the buzzing Amanora mall, they have an open but covered sitting area , nice , attentive and helpful staff always ready to guide you through the menu with impeccable service , great blended drinks served in freaky glassware..foot tapping music combined with some great little bites like wings, fries and chips and many more that gives you something to nosh on while you chat and dance the evening away.. What I didn't like was the too loud music and absence of ceiling fans .. They do have mist fountains but on hot humid days these will not suffice.. the heat gets on to you.. but all the small hiccups can be easily forgotten and overcomed as you are served some great bites and drinks..

Chicken dum kebab.... Boneless chicken marinated in a blend of herbs and spices that includes basil, mint , green chillies and cream cheese.. and then slow cooked as in dum.. the melting cheese makes it so ooey gooey delicious.. dum with a delicious twist.. fusion food at it's best.. undoubtedly one of their #Stardish from the menu.. #Highlyrecommended

British style fish and chips.... Classic fish and chips are a British Institution that everyone can't help but love.. Aloha has been successful in recreating the perfect British fish and chips.. Double crumb and shallow fried to a perfect golden and served with a side of dips .. perfectly crispy and flavourful.. your search for the best fish and chips ends here.. #DontMissit

Joki Tikki (Veg tikki).... A very simple , easy and delicious vegetable tikki served with a side of chutney.. these are crumb coated and fried perfectly with a crisp texture.. perfect as a starter or as an accompaniment with your choice of drinks.. #Goforit

Basil chicken prawns... Done differently.. but they have nailed it and how !! Chicken breast with a rub of basil stuffed with marinated prawns and pan seared to perfection.. the chicken and prawns done just right retaining it's texture and not chewy..Deliciously flavourful and perfectly satisfying.. #Giveitatry

American style chicken fry....Crumb fried chicken ..the crumb not too thick ,nicely spiced and full of crunch.. #Scrumptious #Crowdpleaser ..this is a full proof item in the item that you can't go wrong with..and will be a hot favourite with children too..

Cowboy Chicken....Tender pieces of chicken breast cooked perfectly in a sauce mix..#PerfectFingerFood to go along with their fun and quirky cocktails.

Seafood platter... This consist of a mix of squids,basa and prawns..each cooked with different flavours..#PerfectPlatter to order if you are in a group..

Cream of seafood soup.... Seafood is a personal favourite and since it was in the menu so I had to try it..I love the delicious,creamy soup with bites of shrimps,scallops and crab..but here I was a tad bit disappointed because it lacked the essence of a seafood soup in terms of texture and flavour..but they are open to suggestions and has promised to do the necessary changes ..

Aloha has an interesting list of quirky cocktails, mocktails and other beverage too.and has concocted some great fusion drinks too..For me the star drinks were..

Red wine sangria with kokum....The best combination when it comes to traditional meets modern..Kokum is an eternal favourite with all punekars and an inevitable part of Summers..Aloha has given the good ol' kokum sherbet an alcoholic twist..kokum infused with red wine..the red wine perfectly balances the flavours of the cocktail..this drink will definitely leave you with a #HappyHigh ...#Highlyrecommended

An open covered area resembling a beach shack, whacky lights, loud music, mist fountains, wooden n bamboo interiors, intimate spaces, dance floor, paranphelia on the walls, ceramic tiki mugs that says it all. Already in the party mood we started with some amazing quirky cocktails -Cool Rum, Kokum Sangria and Sangria stood out for me. Each served in offbeat tiki mugs was an experience in itself. Cool rum was a heady mix of cucumber and apple juice, martini, lime and white rum. The perfect start to get you grooving. #smooth #potent Kokum Sangria with its tangy indianised twist was ultimate. #highlyaddictive. Been to this place 4 times already and this never fails to impress me.

I absolutely love this place and can vouch for a  fantastic experience here. Relatively new place in Amanora, they have caught up well.

Their Hawaiian ambience is wacky and amusing. The interiors are mostly wooden with some amazing decors. The lighting and mist fountains will make you forget about the hot weather while you sit outdoors and enjoy your time here.

The place has cocktails to die for. Reasonably priced at 289 bucks, they all offer a distinct taste and are served in some quirky glassware. I became a fan of their plating and glassware totally. It adds so much fun to the experience.

This time, Hurricane Pepper really stood out with its Coriander flavor. Lavish Lavender and Sand Storm were too damn amazing. Appletini and Bourbon Orange are for the hard ones out there. During all my visits, I have tried atleast 12-15 of their cocktails and love them all.

Their food is top notch to say the least. The outlet comes from the house of Moti Mahal chains. Their Kebab Platter was enormous in size for the price they charged. We also had a Veg Overload Pizza which was literally overloaded with Veggies and cheese was oozing out in every bite. It was unbelievably priced at 299 only. One of my best Pizza experiences for this rate.

The owner, mixologist and all the other staff was friendly and helpful. They really know how to take care of the customers.
