Do not mistake me, the atmosphere and service here are top-tier and I loved the waiters. I had high expectations when I entered the place and the food presentation did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the actual food was absolutely disgusting and inedible. We started our course by ordering some sweet drinks but upon the first sip made me realised that the amount of sugar used in it would even leave a non-diabetic person in the ICU. When the main course came, the meal was terribly oily and bland; by the way that was my honest reaction towards the signature dish of the restaurant that I ordered which was apparently the ramen. The salmon in the sushi, aside from being as thin as paper, was also not fresh. I don't even want to mention the sauce, it was saltier than the ocean. I've never eaten a papad so nasty that it embodied a foul smell as if it had been fried in some rancid fish oil. The first bite made me want to vomit and leave the place immediately. For those who do not want to waste their money, I highly recommend to not visit this place expecting for some expensive and good food especially anything in the category of East Asian Cuisine and seafoods. Do not be deceived by the looks of it all. It was all simply intolerable; this was equivalent to torture food. The gap between the price and the quality of the food is immeasurable; I would not regret paying more if at least the food was worth the price because, as a matter of fact, it isn't. Moreover, I would also respectfully suggest the restaurant to make decent improvements by either replacing the chef with a better one or removing unnecessary options from the menu that is beyond the cook's expertise. In your meal preparations, please don't be too generous in your cheap ingredients like sugar and salt. I say this with sadness, I'm not sorry for my brutal honesty because at the end of the day a good restaurant is mainly judged by the quality of it's food which to my experience is definitely not here. You deserve a star for the food quality only because, thankfully, I didn't die eating it. Replace the O with an A in the word 'Grove' and you'll be more accurate with your title.

I'm writing this review in my 2nd visit to this place.. I went here 2.5 yrs back n it was just an amazing now but when I visited this place again few weeks back I was highly disappointed. Food quality degraded, too oily food.. even after requesting the chef to use less oil it was the same result. Veg options are limited.. we ordered corn cheese dimsum whose basket had a dead baby insect. This was literally unacceptable. When are called the lady to clear the table we literally had to keep asking her n telling her about the dead insect and to clear the table. We also ordered cold drink which wasn't cold atall.. they served us with warm sprite and coke when I asked for some ice, that was also not available. They charged us rs 100 for the cold drinks which we literally had to dump there. Just a waste of money. None of us were satisfied woth the food and the service there.

We tried the famous food of Japan which is Katsu Ramen for the first time in this place The food was delicious, both katsu Ramen and chilli garlic noodles. I kind of learned something new about the difference between noodles and chow mein which is noodle is something that cannot be with gravy. Hence chow mein is something which always comes with gravy. I also ordered chicken tikka kebab which was not recommended at all unlike the other 2 Raman was truly fabulous to have, and the chilli garlic noodles was undoubtedly the best one I ever had. Three item costed us around ₹1100, which is quite reasonable for a place like that. Service should be improved as we waited around 15 minutes just someone to appear. They also had a specific smoking area which is very nice for people who want to drink and have snow in open year but inside glass balcony.

I used to be a regular at Grove, i generally visit 2 to 3 times a month. But over the months i have seen the service and taste change. There is no standard in the taste. I have ordered the Chicken Salad thrice at this place and each time the taste differed. The Chocolate shake always looks different and is never the same. The service is slow and the staff takes forever to attend to you. However i used to neglect all this because the food was good, irrespective of the change in taste, it was still good. But today April 30th, I had a bad experience that will forever be with me and i will never come here again. I had ordered the Chicken burger for my wife and the Chicken Salad for myself (yes again, i just love it). As i started munching on my salad, a snail crawled out of the chicken burger. The snail was alive and happily crawling over the lettuce in the burger. Imagine my reaction as i had a mouthful of lettuce in my mouth. i just spewed it out and took the plate directly to the owner (i believe the owner) and his reaction was also of shock.

This is sheer negligence from the restaurant staff and this shows that they dont even clean the veggies properly. From the entire time of making the burger, which would have involved, laying the buns, putting the lettuce on top, the onions on top, then the burger patty and then the extra cheese that i ordered, then the top bun, the staff never noticed the snail.

I unfortunately can never visit here as everytime i order something i will be wondering what is happening in the kitchen and was there a snail or insect.

This can be a one time mistake, but who can guarantee that such negligence wont happen again? And i will never be able to much on their good food in peace because i will always be wondering.

Bye Bye Grove, I am never...

Tldr; Not recommended especially so for vegetarians. We were served chicken despite repeatedly mentioning we are vegetarians and to top it all of place is filthy, staff is not helpfull

Place offers vast options for food and it is situated in a prime location. Place is unhygienic, floor tables are sticky even the dishes we were given weren't cleaned properly. Had to get them replaced. We ordered a mushroom starter, naan, tava veg, dum aloo and flat udon noodles. There were 2 waiters noting our order. All the items that we ordered were veg. Despite that we mentioned 3-4 times our order is completely veg (menu was dominated with non veg items). Every thing was served at once except for noodles which were served latter than other items. Food was underwhelming for the high expectations we had after reading reviews. Paneer was rubbery (tava veg), mushrooms were old, dum aloo were just boiled potatoes with gravy on top. Edible food but not the experience and price you pay for here. Noodles that arrived latter had chicken. Not a piece but loads of it. I asked the server what dish i ordered. We were told veg japaneese udon noodles veg. I asked him to check what i was served and he confirmed it is chicken. Despite mentioning repeatedly we want every thing veg and 2 servers taking our order we were served chicken. The manager and server weren't even apologetic for the incident. Overall a terrible experience at this restraunt. People i was having dinner with got upset and had to leave behind pieces of chicken for the staff to clean. Floor is so sticky they might just leave it there as well and it wont be noticeable for...
