Canton House — Restaurant in Mira-Bhayander

Canton House is becoming a well known place in Mira Road for your likes in Chinese Cuisine. The place is located opposite Mira Road Petrol pump easily located from the highway. Ambiance can be improved with more creatives and fun things. The food was good but what disappointed me was the service they deliver. This has been an ongoing issue since past 2years and still no improvement. Their bad service is as consistent as their good food. It took me almost hour and a half to get finished with 2 dishes i ordered, when i looked around almost everyone was waiting for the food to be served. 40mins is the average time in which they serve you.This may be a turning down point for Canton house. i suggest you visit this place only if you are dating someone so that way you get to talk more than eating. Honestly the service part should not be neglected specially when it is existing...

Ambience was well perfect, a touch of star restaurant. Service according to us was well fast enough. Although 1/4th of the restaurant was occupied may be the kitchen is big enough to serve customers fast. After ordering the food, it arrived in less then 15mins which was not expected. Food was good though not that great, the starters were good. We ordered. 1.Sizzled Chilli chicken which was actually great never had this kind of dish before. 2. Thai grill chicken, it was subtle in taste it was made in some green spieces, compared to first it was ohk. 3. Pecking fried rice, rice accompanied with gravy, to be honest it taste as schezwan rice or to be precise triple schezwan rice, it was just a simple taste nothing different.

The starters are worth going for, as it was my first visit was not happy with rice, would love to try more...

Wanted to try this restaurant for long as it serves only Chinese....based on the reviews we had good hopes but heavily disappointed....we ordered normal manchow soup which was ok...egg fried rice and exotic noodles which was dry...the crab balls and chicken drumsticks were ok...the chicken chilly felt like it was dropped in a water and cornflour base (could not be eaten)...there are several other mixed joints which serves better Chinese than this place....i beleive a restaurant which is meant to serve Chinese should be authentic...I am not sure whether this joint has lost it's flavour due to covid effects which happened with many other joints (as the previous employees went back to their hometown) but they really need to check their cook....the ambience of the hotel was good though and the service...
