Archana Veg. Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

We order Paneer Pataya and mentioned Jain, but the one taking order, missed out on Jain, so once it was served we ate a bit and saw onion in it, we asked him if it's jain, he said no, he completely denied we didn't order jain, and said aisa kabhi hota hi nai . 1st he said yeh jain mein aata hi nai, when clearly the menu mentioned it is jain... he said 90% of people here are jain and if jain is mentioned we don't serve it like this...we asked him to check the recording. He said it's there and dragged in saying 2 more waiter heard it, but being at fault obviously he didn't show us the recording and finally agreed to replace it..Firstly the way he talked was very rude.

And then again they served us non jain, after eating a bit we realised, being someone who has been jain all my life it was such a shocker to have eaten twice! Then the manager agreed and said sorry, we said we need to talk to the owner regarding the same...being at fault and scared of his complaint after repeatedly asking he didn't let us contact the owner.

Worst staff. Worst service. Worst food!! Don't visit this place if you are jain!

I ordered jain food and I was served non jain. On realising this I contacted the person who took order(Manager) he started denying that I didn't say jain! He told me he won't replace it's not his mistake. He told there is video recording too. I asked him to show that and he denied and kept arguing it's not his mistake. He talked very rudely you'll have the worst service here and they'll serve you non jain and won't even agree on their mistake.

Now I ordered jain again in front of 5-6 staff and clearly everyone heard that after this argument Surprise! Surprise! I was again served non jain food! Like how can a restaurant repeat the same mistake twice! At first they pretended that it was jain only. Then they agreed and said sorry. I asked them that I want to give feedback to the owner and he(Manager) again talked rudely with us and declined to call the owner told us to let it be and started ignoring

We visited today for dinner. This has been our go to restaurant as we live next door. However, we were badly let down by the food and service. We waited 20 minutes for our food, and this was served cold. The waiter decided initially to only take back the idli - and then upon a further complaint, took back the Rava Dosa. A new plate of idli returned, hot, and the same plate of Rava Dosa returned, warmed possibly in a microwave. I expect much better from a hospitality venue. After paying the bill, we wished to complain - and had to wait ten minutes to speak to the manager. They cleared don't care about individual customers. Even an apology was not forthcoming. I did not want any refunds, I just wanted them to understand what is good customer service. Whoever the owner is, I hope they understand that they have hired a mediocre team who couldn't care less about the primary purpose of a restaurant - good, hot food, alongside good customer service.
