Bayroute is one of the finest places I have ever been to . They ooze out panache. Fantastic in every aspect . This place is pure gold. The staff is so welcoming , caring and really good at suggestions to. They know exactly what every dish is and give some great suggestions. Recently they have even added some new dishes to their menu to . They serve Egyptian , Moroccan , Greek , Turkish and even Lebanese food . Their menu is quite flamboyant as well . It's kinda unique as all the dishes aren't on the right side , instead they're on the left side. The names are written starting from the right instead of the left . I guess that's cause they serve cuisine from a few Mediterranean countries like Egypt , Morocco etc . The pages were golden coloured and fabulous . Like yes , even their menu looks so damn good so you can only imagine how good their food is gonna be . The ambience , well , eye candy to look at . It's makes dining over here true bliss. Also a huge shoutout to the staff , I know I have mentioned them earlier but they really were spot on . I tried the following:
Mocktails: Reyhan: A splendid affair of orange , basil and blossom water. The presentation was amazing . The addition of the orange peel with the word "bayroute" engraved on it was really unique . This drink was really refreshing and is a must try mocktail if you happen to be here .
Greek Goddess: Creamy greek yoghurt blended with pitted wild berries and mint. This drink is on the cremier side . The flavours of the berries were clearly evident and blended well with the yoghurt . Enjoyed every sip of it .
Melting rose milk : Milk with the flavour of rose . Topped with rose petals . This drink not only was eye candy to look at but even had a flavour that would certainly delight your tastebuds .
Laban Laban is a cooling yoghurt drink that is sold in a variety of options such as sweet , salty , roasted curry leaf and mustard , avocado and cucumber , labneh and dukkah. I tried the roasted curry leaf and mustard variant and it was amazing . Refreshing and resembled a lassi in its consistency.
Hot mezze Mezze is basically like a starter . The mezze I tried was dijaj chermoula . The chicken was really well cooked . Full of flavour . Six pieces of HEAVENLY chicken . When combined with the cacik dip , this dish simply gets augmented to a whole new level .
Cold mezze Musabbaha: I have never eaten hummus this delicious in my entire life . Really well made and exceptionally tasty . Mildly spiced and perfect for the pita bread .
Mains :
Escalope Al Dijaj: well cooked and flavoursome chicken breasts , served with Greek rice and dressed with Rocca salata and saffron sauce . The chicken was cooked to perfection . Crisp. Juicy . Flavourful. The Greek rice too was amazing and the dressing of the Rocca salata and saffron sauce really blended in well with the rice and the chicken . Truly a match made in heaven .
Machboos Al kuzu The lamb was cooked to perfection . This dish is a one way ticket to the Middle East . Loved the flavours . The fried onion simply elevated the flavour of this already impressive dish . Lamb lovers should definitely try this dish . Cooking lamb perfectly is a hard task something the folks over here nailed .
Dessert Baklava : this is a dessert sent from the heavens above .The taste is magic . The whole scene wherein the server dips the rose in liquid nitrogen and then crushes it into pieces that land on your dessert is like the best thing ever . The rose brittles combined with the pastry that had Iranian pistachios , almonds and gulkand ice cream was just simply awe-inspiring.
Shukulata Al Habib: This dish looked so fantastic. It had a plethora of elements each with their own taste. Somehow they didn't result in a disaster even though the possibility of that happening is very high especially when you have so many elements. You'll be awestruck when you see it trust me . It is like a piece of art.

The ambience was very nice and was so refreshing. Interior is so well decorated with the lightings and seating arrangement was done superbly. Tables are well spaced and seating was very comfortable. Music was so fantastic.
Its a very nice place to your dates, spent time with friends. Even fits for family and small meetings.
Amazingly served by Mr. Punit Ramchandani. They were very helpful and polite even they helped us in menu.
Things we ordered there:-
*Shish taouk chicken- This thing also they suggested us to order as we are big chicken fans. From name itself we guessed it is going to be something different than our regular chicken starters. And what came was tikka that we really not even thought of!The way they served was kinda attractive with chutney being spread in different fashions on the place.3-4 onion rings were there which seemed tasty. And the chicken pieces were garnished in some white spices which was tasty. They served chicken pieces and colourful Simla mirch's in that stick.Everything was perfect, but the taste was below our expectations.Maybe because we expected something different.bUt if you are looking for tikka, this is the best option for you to go.
*Lamb fatayer- As menu was so vast ,we couldn't decide what to take as there were so many option so we asked them to suggest something nice for us.They suggested this lamb starter which turned out to be so good. This was the best lamb starter I had ever came across. It was looking like mini samosas what we call it as kachori. But the mixture inside was really juicyy.for 1 sec we couldn't even recognise what actually it is!It was so yummy with rich lamb taste.Even the covering was so soft and being fried,it was not much oily also. I recommend everyone vising bayroute to try this starter.
*Ice cream-Date and gulkand- We ordered rich gulkand flavoured ice-cream for dessert. It was vanilla ice cream served with two dates on that. Two scoops were served which had high taste of gulkand. It tasted like I am eating gulkand only more than vanilla cream. The dish was too sweeter than expected. But it was good option to go for if you are tired of eating some casual desserts.
*Thandai- The world famous thandai we ordered in shakes. It had authentic taste of all dry fruits and thick milk. They preserved the taste of original and rich thandai.
*Salted caramel Baklava shake- honestly I decided to visit bayroute second time for this shake only.Even we visited once,I had this shake. The taste will never going to disappoint me.I was thick milk shake with flavours of caramel and bust of dryfruits. The taste of final combination was toooo good.I have no words to say!! You should never miss Salted Caramel Baklava Shake when you visit bayroute.
*Reyhan- This was mocktail suggested by one of server. They had very less options in mocktails as compared to other things. It was mild flavour of lemon and sprite I guess. This was good in taste. You'll definitely love it if you are are fan of mocktails.
*Lotus biscuit- This was the milk shake with vanilla cream and lotus syrup with a Lil lotus biscuit on top.The shake was really thick, yummy and medium sweet. The was exactly I like!
*Machboos Al kuzu- This was lamb biryani which we ordered for main cours. Many more Biryanis were available but we again took there choice for biryani. The biryani was served in cute little cooker with 5-6 well cooked and garnished with spices on top and the Rich long basmati rice inside. That was cooked in ghee and was really yummy with blend of pistas ,almonds. It was goldenish yellow in colour and was not soo spicy. The taste for really Brilliant. It was worth the price for quality and quantity also.
I just loved my visit there.
I'll definitely recommend this place.
And thank you, Bayroute for such a...
