I ordered an Orange cream bento cake for a birthday. The cake was delivered in time and the birthday message was properly done. This was a multi layered sponge cake with cream layers alternating. While the cake as a whole was tasty, light and fluffy and there was an orange colour and flavour to the cream, I was disappointed that there weren't any bits of orange and each of the 3 cake layers were only 1 cm in height, making it an extremely light and overly creamy cake; that being said, the small bits of candied cherry in the cream layers and the orange cream piping and chocolate swirls on the surface layer were quite tasty. Unless one prefers to eat more cream and less cake, I would not recommend this particular cake, which is why I gave it a rating of 3. It would have probably been better to order a customized cake. The outlet at Malad East had very few readily available cakes (most were chocolate) , pastries or snacks at 10 am on Sunday morning. This was the case on my earlier visit too some months ago. Had ordered Dutch Truffle on February 15, 2022 for family friends on their Wedding Anniversary. Both of them liked the cake immensely and said that it was delicious. The packing was also nicely done. Now for a small suggestion. The names given to the shop people for putting up on the cake remained to be done. Sender's name was not given and while handing over the cake the messenger wished my friend A Happy Birthday. As this was a surprise from the two of us (friends), he was unable to guess who could have sent it and or to whom it was meant for as there was no name and no Sender's name too.
