Again on 9/9/23, I ordered 1 hyderabadi chicken biryani with starter and 1 kathal biryani. The starter was very good. Kathal was undercooked and bitter. The biryanis were awful..very bland, no masala, potato skins but no potatoes, three bony chicken pieces which were just boiled and placed in handi. Also, minimal strands of fried onion.Quantity was deliberately less may be to cater to other orders. It was a horrible dining experience again. Knowingly, such pathetic food is provided so that further orders can be taken care of with no improvement in quality. Absolutely no change in quality and quantity since my last order 10 months ago. Will never order again from BBK. There are many good options available. Ordered this time due to demand of my guests. They too were disappointed as other BBK branches don't serve such horribly bad biryanis that too at such a high price like this Malad West Branch. Waste of money. This is nothing but cheating customers. Images of two handis attached. BBK management should seriously inspect this Malad West Branch for quality control.
Old review: Yesterday(10 months ago), I ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani ( serves 2) with starter and 1 Paneer dum biryani(serves1) via Zomato from BBK.
It was a horrible dining experience.
There was no biryani masala in the handi and 4 bony chicken pieces like boiled chicken without flavour. Rice quantity was very less 1 1/2 inch below lid and served only one person. It was like a tava fry chicken pulao. Waste of money.
Paneer dum biryani had only 7 very very tiny pieces of paneer with 3 very tiny capsicum pieces. Very less biryani masala. Less rice quantity. It was like a tava fry paneer pulao. Again, waste of money.
I chose biryani over Pizza yesterday and regretted my choice.
BBK, is this what your Malad West outlet serves?
If there was a shortage, you should have cancelled the order instead of cheating.
I brought this to the notice of Zomato. They told me to write a mail!
Last week, I had ordered Chicken Tikka Dum biryani and Kathal biryani twice via Swiggy- Malad Kandivli BBK outlet. It was amazing! Thats why I ordered again.
But this time it was a horrible horrible dining experience.
Good food quantity and qualitywise should be your aim instead...

Positives:
Convenient Location: The Malad outlet is close to my residence in Borivali, making it a practical choice when ordering.
Quick Delivery: The food arrived within 1-1.5 hours, which was impressive considering it was ordered during peak hours.
Hot and Fresh: The food was served hot and was well-packaged in an earthen pot, which was a nice touch.
Imli Ginger Drink: The only saving grace of the entire meal was the Imli Ginger Drink, which was refreshing and tasted great.
Negatives:
Extremely Overhyped Taste: Despite all the glowing reviews, the taste was far from impressive. The biryani was certainly not bad, but it wasn’t anywhere close to the hype it receives. For the price and reputation, I expected a lot more in terms of flavor and authenticity.
Order Mistakes & Poor Service: While I initially selected the wrong item (kachumber instead of salan) during ordering, I quickly corrected it by calling their customer care. They acknowledged the issue and assured me it would be fixed, but nothing was done. Despite their promises, I still ended up with two kachumbers and no salan. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a brand that claims to offer a premium experience.
Disappointing Quality of Dishes: The Hyderabadi Kathal Biryani wasn’t up to the mark—it lacked the rich flavors and spices you’d expect from a biryani with such high expectations. The Veg Galouti Kebab was even worse; it tasted like a soft, flavorless besan cutlet, a far cry from what a Galouti Kebab should be. Overall, it was disappointing and didn’t justify the price tag.
In summary, Biryani By Kilo failed to live up to the hype. Apart from the Imli Ginger Drink, the food and service were below expectations. I won’t be recommending this place...

Food delivery is one way channel so once ordered have it and do not not like next time do not order it.
To be honest after receiving their response I would assume that they do not really care this is just a generic response, what about the money which got wasted? and also how to follow up with the assurance they given , gave bad biryani, complained they say next time they would improve, it means our money has no value.
PS : Upon giving them feedback and complains they give generic response, don't value your feedback or care to resolve your issues, will give you generic response, a staff member called me but than he never responded back when I contacted that person, Useless customer care, Customer is a king but they make you feel opposite, after serving bad biryani they dont refund you nor they care to check...
