Cafe Sagar — Restaurant in Mumbai

Have been a patron for over 30 years and used to come every month with my family from Goregaon until the restaurant closed a few years ago. They have reopened recently after the Covid lockdown ended and I came as soon as I found out about the reopening. The new decor + ambience is excellent but the taste has gone down a notch. The iconic butter chicken still tastes similar but the rest of the food isn't as great. The tandoori chicken was dry and overdone. Chicken lollipop and mutton makhanwala were good, but chicken darbari was not so great. My favorite dish, silver chicken isn't on the menu anymore. I hope to see Cafe Sagar up the ante on the food department and bring back silver chicken. I will be back soon to try rest...

This is very nice , cosy and wonderful hotel for food lovers. I have tried multiple dishes from this hotel and all the items are very tasty and cost effective also. Due to personal reasons, I couldn’t dine in but used only takeaway. The packing, timeliness, support and response from the hotel has been noteworthy and appreciable. Most of the items which I tried are very tasty and especially the mutton soup and dal fry has been highlights from the items I tried. Definitely would recommend anybody to visit this place and enjoy the food. Hotel is located very well in the main circle.
