Deliure & The Eatrium — Restaurant in Mumbai

We have passed this place on numerous occassion and it always looked inviting. And yet we never went in. Today we did and now we are wondering why we did.

This place is quite large and looks good. On entering we saw a lot of choices. So we decided to pick a few pastries. The sales guy was quite casual, which is not a bad thing. It was nice. We asked him how the Chocolate Truffle and Dutch Truffle were. We also saw a Choco Chip Pastry that looked interesting. But the sales guy told us they werent that good. He went on to suggest we try the Vainise Black Forest or the Choco Feast or maybe the Decadence Pastry. Now we are not sure if it was the taste or the fact that they were the most expensive of the pastries there, that made him suggest them to us.

Anyways, when the sales guy tells you something is not that good, you definitely don't want to try it. So we decided to go with his suggestion of Choco Feast. They only had one piece left.

All three of one took a bite each and we knew we didn't wanna try any more pastries at this place. If this was what they suggested was their best, we wonder what the other pastries would be like.

Maybe it was off day. Maybe that's how all their pastries are. Either ways all we could do was walk out of that place.

Used to buy their cookies some 3 or 4 years back... and also bought their Handmade chocolate a year back.... the cookies were my favourite...

Handmade chocolates were OK.

Yesterday ordered their Mari Chicken Roll and Grill chicken Sandwich...

Mari Chicken Roll a unique name but nuthing unique in the flavour.... sandwich was quite decent....

Ordered their chicken Tikka pizza and chipotle Veg grill sandwich..

Pizza was tasty but you can find the same taste in the small joint or on a roadside stall which serves you pizza, sandwich or burger for a very minimum prize of 50 or 60....

Chipotle Veg grill sandwich was good it has good amount of stuffing and properly grilled...

Cheese cake nahi bana sakhte but ek cake joh kab introducé kiye pata nahi but mast hai Jiska naam chocolate nougat. Must try.

Pathetic is an understated word to describe the quality of the food and their customer service. Arrogant to the core, they refuse to accept feedback given. Ordered from them on multiple occasions after the first order which was good but post that all the other four orders had some really bad stuff. Each time we ignored thinking it could be a one off incident but now after this fourth order, I am compelled to write this. The nuggets are the frozen nuggets from Venkys / Zorashtrian types and they are fried in used oil. Totally black and completely inedible. The sauce used for the pizza is so bad that I actually puked after the first bite. The cakes are chemically laden and wi cause a sore throat the next day. The tea time toast is salted to the core. The butter chakli too is super salted. Beware people of ordering...
