WORST SHOP AND WORST PEOPLE. Cake Basket Andheri East is the worst cake shop I have ever seen. I would not even give one star to this shop. This shop deserves negative grade. The psychic person with moustache who sits on the billing counter is the epitome of arrogance. He made me carry two KG cake in my hand in the afternoon (did not give me a carry bag for it) and refused to give me home delivery though my home was just half a kilometer away. He told me if u want a home delivery, it will be given at 7.30 pm in the evening, though I had booked this cake 2 days before and that time I was told that the cake will be delivered to my home at 3 pm. There were four salesmen in the shop and no other customer was there other than me. A wise and sensible person would never have refused to give home delivery just a half km away. But such inhuman people will make a lady carry heavy cake in the summery afternoon. Never ever visit this shop. These people should learn a lesson. The owner is an epitome of rudeness and highly dishonest person. I had ordered a 2 kg cake five days before the event at our place and also had paid 80% amount of the cake as an advance. The owner told me that they will give me home delivery at 1pm when I placed the order. But on the event day, he refused to deliver on time saying nobody is available for home delivery at present, you will get delivery after two hours. How can we cut the cake after two hours when the event was already planned at 1 pm? On top of it, when I went to shop to collect the cake myself, he refused to give me a carrybag to carry the cake saying we don't give carry bags. I had to carry such a big cake in my hand as I walked down to home. The owner is highly shameless and rude guy. There are multiple good cake shops. Had a very bad experience not once but twice. It was my 1st time in my own family function and the 2nd was with one of my friend's birthday parties both times we found ginger pieces inside the cake.When took the cake as it was shown to the owner he immediately started arguing and not even ready to accept or listen to things. Very rude and scared that we are spoiling his brand name and was looking at other customers and was telling them that this cake is not from their outlet but we showed them receipt. Please ask the bill every time because they purposely don't give until you ask for it. Smart way but wrong ethics of business. Please don't buy any cake from Andheri East Cake Basket. Soon they will make us eat a real basket in cake flavour. My personal recommendation is don't buy...
