Charcoal Eats: Charcoal eats is one of the famous place for its Square Pizza and lot of other cuisines. So when I visited this place I was quite impress with the fact of sorted menu and hygiene that this place had maintained. They have 17 outlets in Mumbai and they basically serve Punjabi, Arabic, Mughalai and Italian cuisine with a twist. Key Points: MENU: As mentioned above quite sorted STAFF: Active and Humble to serve you the best food. Gives good suggestion of food as per ones preference. CROWD: This place attracts the crowd of all ages as the menu covers a sorted yet delicious range of food. PRICE: The prices of dished are ok ok in compare to quantity! FOOD PACKAGING AND SERVING: The food packaging is really beautiful and professionally done. COST FOR TWO PEOPLE: 380-400 Minimum! What we tried: 1) Chicken Malai Tikka: Tender and Juicy chicken marinated in white sauce and nicely charcoal roasted. Cost: 119/- for half (8 Pieces) and 299/- for full (12 Pieces) 2) Tandoori Mayo Fries: (MUST TRY) Cost: 99/- Crispy and Crunchy fries topped with Mayo and Tandoori Sauce- Tangi, Spicy and too yummy for Potato fries to taste like this. 3) Mutton Seekh Adana: (MUST TRY) Cost: 179/- Mutton seekh nicely roasted on charcoal severed in lachha paratha. Its basically a wrap that's got juicy and tender mutton seekh some onion rings and spicy sauces. 4) Bombay Masala Pizza: 7' inch (Must Try- Worth The Price) Cost: 149/- The Pizza here is served is an unique, for it is served in Square shape. Its reasonable for its taste and concept. 5) Chicken Tikka Biyani in Afghani Style: ( MUST TRY) Cost: 179/- for 1 Portion 289/- for 2 Portion. We highly recommend you to have this delicious Flavorful, Rich yet balanced on Spiced Biryani. This biryani did wonders on our taste Palate. One person serving with a curd pack. Charcoal Biryani has changed its name to Charcoal Eats and added several items in their menu. They provide quick home deliveries as well as have a small dine-in section. I visited their Kemps Corner outlet and ordered the following- Classic Chicken Biryani (Half) and Afghani Chicken Tikka Biryani (Half): Both the biryanis were aromatic and extremely delicious. Served with curd and raita masala mix, Classic one had spicy chicken masala and Afghani had creamy chicken. Would've been perfect if pieces were boneless. I'd recommend Classic Chicken Biryani. Classic Chicken Tikka Roll: Thick crispy parantha filled with juicy masala chicken, spicy harissa sauce, garlic mayo, onion and capsicum. Tasted great. Chicken Baida Roti: Better than rolls, go for this one! Spicy minced chicken wrapped in egg roti and cooked till crisp. The tender chicken inside went well with crispy roti cut in triangular pieces. Tandoori Loaded Fries: Crispy french fries topped with spicy Tandoori sauce and garlic mayo. The fries were really long and made with perfection. Avocado Milkshake: Thick and not very sweet. A bit bland for my taste. Grape Juice: A refreshing drink made from real black grapes. Loved this one. Strawberry Souffle (Eggless): A souffle loses its essence if made without eggs. This one, surprisingly, came out better than expected. Creamy and low in sweetness. A bit grainy though. Ambiance is nothing fancy, it's an underground level windowless room. Better if you opt for home delivery. Service was slow.

This restaurant is located near kemps corner across the lane, it has a very decent dine-in, sweet ambience but should improve on the hygiene, mostly this place has delivery. The following dishes were tried *Mutton seekh adana roll and Chicken tikka roll - Both rolls were very nicely prepared with fresh meat fillers chicken one had very juicy chicken tikka cubes and mutton seekh had great textured seekh, wheat based rolls were stuffed with meat, fries, In house sauces which really complimented the taste. *Chicken baida roti - A very simple, traditional cuisine, roti stuffed with chicken egg wash and fried sprinkled with chat masala loved the texture and palate. *Peri Peri Veg Pizza - This was a set back, this should have been a unique experience as they were serving square pizza rather than standard circular one, base was also made differently, toppings were not upto the mark. *Afghani Chicken tikka biryani - This one is their signature biryani, seem to be a bit lower on the chicken pieces, biryani tasted like a regular one didn't seem anything special about it. *Custard caramel mousse - Always a delight to have mousse, but frankly I have tried a lot better one than this. Overall a good decent meal with a pocket friendly price. Staff should improve their hygiene should be more presentable

Overall :- 4/5 Food :- 4.5 /5 Ambience :- 3.5 /5 Quality and Quantity :-4/5 Service :- 3. 5/5 Packaging :-4/5

Recently I visited Charcoal Eats Kemps corner outlet. It is tiny outlet at Grant road. This place is mostly known for their home delivery service but the kemps concern outlet also have small dine too. When you talk about the ambience of this is small, simple and sweet with limited seating. Charcoal Eats have become popular outlet in town within couple of months. This place have more than 15 outlets across the city. They have limited menu that serves tasty, yummy and delicious food. This place is popular for their rolls, biryani, and starters . This place is one of the best franchise that serves one of the best biryani in town. They also have different types of fries, dessert, and pizza. Service provided by them is pretty OK.

AFGHANI CHICKEN Biriyani (Half portion) :- Nice hot serve biryani and aroma coming out of it made even more tempting to eat. Overall this biryani was tasty, delicious, yummy and lipsmacking. Medium spicy biryani with well cooked rice, soft pieces of chicken and great balance of all the spices, other ingredients made it full of flavors and prefect. It was a great dish overall.

SEZHWAN FRIES :- Nice Crispy Fries with Chilli sauce, mayo and cheese on top of it was tasty and yummy.

MALIA TIKKA ROLL :- Minty and medium spicy roll that was stuff with soft pieces of Malia Tikka chicken along with mint sauce, mayo and cheese in it made good combination. Overall the roll was pretty good and tasty.

MUTTON SEEKH ADANA (regular portion) :- Nice soft cooked pieces of Mutton along with all the ingredients made the kababs hot and spicy, tempting and delicious.

SALTED CARAMEL MOUSSE :- chocolatey and salty caramelized mousse was delightful dessert after that meal. Overall my experience with the Charcoal Eats was really good.

This review is review is based completely on my personal experience and to this outlet of...

reviously operating as two separate delivery outlets (under the same brand) - Charcoal biryani & chilli flakes, Charcoal eats is now an upgraded amalgamation of both. Apart from Biryanis and pizzas, they have added starters, desserts and drinks to their menu.

From their previous separate ventures, I have tried both biryani and pizzas. The biryani was good, but the Pizza was not satisfactory at that time. I was hoping that with this new improved version, their pizzas would also be better.

Want to know if they did? Here’s a review of items I tried:

1.Bombay Masala Chicken Puff Crust Pizza The concept of replacing the pizza base with a puff crust was quite interesting. The chicken had a very Indian masala. The jalapenos were present in large chunks on a few selected slices, so they weren’t really adding up to the overall taste of the pizza. Overall, I felt like I was having an open Puff, which I wouldn’t prefer over pizza as I like my pizza as a pizza itself. My sister on the other hand enjoyed this dish( and she’s not a fan of pizzas as such).

2.Classic Chicken Full Biryani Firstly, I would like to applaud the management for their packaging of the Biryani! They serve raita, along with a raita mix as well (which was quite delectable, I must say) The aroma of the biryani was mesmerizing, and it was just as I like my biryani- not too much or too less of masala, and a good quantity of tender chicken pieces.

3.Strawberry Soufflé (Eggless) Dessert The strawberry mix used in it was good, but the souffle was extremely creamy and a little grainy as well. The sweetness level required was not adequate. Overall, I didn’t really enjoy it, could have been much better.

On an end note, I would really like to try their milkshakes and a few more biryani and kebab items next time maybe and plus points for the spill-free compact...
