Chinese Wok — Restaurant in Mumbai

I ordered lunch today in my break time but it was taking so much time for the preparation. So i called the restaurant twice but they didn't answer so I had to call the delivery person and he told me that he is waiting for the order and they are taking so much time. When he was giving the call to someone from the restaurant they were not ready to take the phone and was shouting very rudely to him saying "unko bolo restaurant me call karne" as if they were receiving my calls. So i again called them twice but they didn't receive. I called the delivery person and asked him to handover the call as they are not receiving my calls.The delivery guy had to continue request them to take my call. So one lady took the call and I asked her how much time is it going to take and she replied that it will take time, probably more 20 mins and i was already waiting from 1 hour for the order. My lunch break in the office was over so I told her to cancel my order then for which she said that i will have to do that from the app. When i was cancelling my order from Zomato it was showing that the food is already in preparation and I won't be getting any refund if cancelled now. I had to call them again and as usual they didn't receive so called the delivery guy and requested him to handover the call to someone again. The lady who spoke before started shouting at him saying "abhi toh baat kiya na..! abhi toh baat kiya na ab kya hai" this is how they behave. Is this the way of speaking to the customer or anyone? Is this the service they are providing? I was ordering from Chinese Wok for the first time and it was very disappointing. I didn't like the way that lady spoke as well as their service. If they had so many orders at once so they shouldn't have taken another order if it was going to take time. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Had a very bad experience. To be precise an Asian Cuisine Specialist in Andheri East Area is none other than Wok Express... The ambiance is very decent & spacious. You need to order at Billing counter & then they serve you on your table in typical paper boxes & bowls.. I found this idea quiet unique & hygienic... Now coming to Food here is what I tried...

Mocktails: Minty Mojito: Fizzy & Minty, very refreshing one Green Apple Cooler: Usual Green Apple Flavored mild Soda Appetizers: Schezvan Chicken Bao: This is star dish, well marinated chicken chunks filled inside a Soft Bao, highly recommended.. Hot & Crispy Garlic Chicken Wings: Outer coating was done so nicely & it tasted heavenly, Momos: Crunchy Vegetable dumpling with sweet cheesy and tangy sauce : These cute little pockets of happiness are must try.. Main Course: Kung Pao Chicken; Flavorful & Delicious with exotic vegetables .. Schezwan with rice bowl: Rice tossed in schezwan sauce with french beans.. Chicken Hot & crispy garlic with Ramen noodles: Now this is their bestest & spiciest preparation & too good to skip.. so go & give your taste buds a spicy challenge..

Overall a superb foodgasmic Experience.. Staff is very courteous & service is prompt.. Highly recommended for all your Asian food...

Who doesn't like chinese ? And that too not the authentic one , as we indians love adding mirchi masala and making every dish "karara and swaad " !! 🌶️🌶️🔥 If you're wanting to have desi Chinese , and that too with your slightly watering eyes and feeling that extreme spicy-ness ranging from your mouth right inside your tummy , then wok express has got much to offer for !!

They serve extremely spicy to medium spicy Chinese dishes , especially with Ramen noodles , which are actually a treat to the taste buds of spicy food lovers out there !

Their manchow soup , desi chilli , etc are the ones that are spicy ones , schezwan being in the medium spicy bracket but a good one to opt for !

I would really not recommend the bubble ice tea though .

Overall , the place is good to have chinese from , as they serve on the basis of personal , medium and group servings , which i feel is cost - effective and really does reduce wastage ! Kudos to wok...
