Just ordered their delicious Ted Lasso shortbread biscuits and I’m blown away. Firstly, I want to start off saying that I love the idea of the corner bakery where they bake with love and care rather than large chains and their franchises. The Chubby Baker is just such a lovely small bakery that warms my heart with the nostalgia of times long past fused with the innovation of the future. The butter cookies aka little packets of heaven, were so delicious and the best part? I could only taste the purity and freshness of their ingredients. None of that processed texture and taste that certain franchises (I’m not going to name names here but think American and Canadian bakeries present here in India) have made standard. Chubby baker is my go to place for dessert cravings. I've tried so many and all of them have been exceptional! I was first introduced by my best friend when she ordered the burnt basque cheesecake for my birthday, a 1 kg cake disappeared in minutes. It's so light, you literally will find yourself fighting for a spoonful. It was not too sweet, so you could have multiple servings! That's what I love about all their products. It's not tooo sweet! I stumbled upon Cubby Baker on Instagram. I ordered their sea salt brownies and had them brought by someone all the way to Goa. They were fresh as though they were freshly baked.
