Disappointed with the Experience – Needs Serious Improvement
I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent visit to Costa Coffee left me truly disappointed.
With other cafes nearby being overcrowded, I decided to give this place a try, thinking I’d get a quieter, smoother experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The cafe seemed understaffed, or worse, the available staff were simply not attentive. I stood at the counter calling for someone, but there was no response for several minutes. I eventually had to knock on the kitchen door—twice—just to place my order. That alone took about 11-15 minutes, which is frustrating when all you’re trying to do is grab a quick drink.
Once the order was placed, the service was faster (about 5–10 minutes), but the quality of the drink itself was underwhelming. I had ordered a chocolate smoothie, something I’ve had many times before at other shops—but this time it tasted completely off. Watery, diluted, and oddly bland—nothing like the rich, creamy smoothie I was expecting.
What’s worse is that I ended up feeling sick for a week after having it. Initially, I thought it was just my bad luck, but after reading through other customer reviews, I realized I’m not alone—there are multiple similar complaints about quality and hygiene at this location.
Honestly, I expected better from a brand like Costa, if I am paying 300-400 for a drink. This experience was not just disappointing—it was weird and concerning. I strongly urge the management to look into staffing issues, service standards, and food safety protocols. Customers deserve better.

Read moreI visited the cafe in the evening on Holi Day (14/03/2025). I ordered their Signature Hot Chocolate. After having the hot chocolate, next day my stomach started paining in the morning.
They are putting excess cocoa/chocolate and sugar. The quality of the ingredients seems questionable. With so much of sugar being put I would recommend to keep children away from it.
A big brand like theirs should have a sugar free option as well or they should give sugar separately so that we can add as per our taste. I had even asked for a white sugar alternative, they didn't have it but they assured me that the hot chocolate won't have much sugar. As for their rates, it is definitely not value for money. I mean who would like to pay to get their stomach upset? Even after charging a premium if they cannot maintain the quality of the beverage then I feel it is a complete waste of your hard earned money.

Its been over 3 weeks, still not received any refund Disgusting tasting food and coffee, there are zillion other cafes in the neighbourhood. Save your time and money and please dont visit this place.
