Flour Fire Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mumbai

Awesome food, great service. Went to Flour Fire first time on reading about it in Zomato and was little skeptical since it is not located on the 'main' lanes of thakur village. But a quaint side lane. But was pleasently surprised with the place. The place is run by a couple who left there cushy corporate jobs to pursue their passion. The pizzas are so different from the ones that other outlets make that we absoluteltly fell in love wirh the place post our first visit.Have been there 3 times in the last 1 month and each time have tried atleast one new thing on the menu. Have tried almost all dishes from Art Lovers pizza, to Mexican variety, to Fungi pizza , to Green strip pizza. And not to forget all 3 varieties of garlic bread and 1 of the pastas as well. All the pizzas are nice which is also due to the fact that the pizza base is thinnest of the ones we have always tried and extremely light. Our favorite has been Art Lover pizza and chilli cheese garlic bread. The pesto pizza and pasta were not so great. The place has limited seating area so its always better to check on the seat availability before going as there is only one person handling the whole baking process and each table takes some time. The only change that i would recommend is for them to make the chairs a little more kid friendly as they keep tripping. I had been to this place earlier & really loved the pizza and pasta, very fresh ingredients and prepared fresh right in front of you, so decided to treat my family here on my birthday,had called them early to book a table as I knew this place is small and we were 10 of us, she refused to take reservations but assured if we reach early we will surely get the table, upon reaching by 7.45 pm the big table was already occupied, I asked how much would be waiting and got no answer or reply, blank look on the face as if either wait or go, your choice, felt extremely bad & unwelcome bcoz it was my birthday, but they dint care, I decided to walk away, what a shame, they lost a loyal patron, will never visit or recommend this to anyone again, unless they change their...

If you are a pizza fanatic and think the big box vendors such as dominos and pizza hut as cardboard box, then this is the place for you. The spicy tomato sauce is amazing. It is not the crazy Indian spice but a slightly hot tomato sauce gives the kick to the flavour. I don't have words for the crust. If you have ever tasted a New York style pizza in New York then you will not be disappointed. I'm so happy this place is open in Kandivali. Ofcourse this is a real hole in the wall kind of place. Forget parking, you may not even find this place 8f you are in a car. Believe me, you really would want to get off that car of yours and come in to enjoy the True Pizza experience.
