An interesting story, i had ordered a bhaaji for parcel for my father on a saturday evening. As the delivery boy did not turn up after 40 mins, we called the restaurant and got the reply, 'Ladka nikal gaya hai'. We thought, it's a saturday evening, there would anyways be rush.

After 55 mins, we called up again, we got a reply, 'Ladka 2 mins mein pohoch raha hai. Humne delivery boy se phone pe baat kiya hai '.

After 1 hr. 15 mins, since the ladka hasn't reached, we call the restaurant again. Now in response, we get to know that nobody at the hotel is aware of the order. They pass around the phone to multiple people who supposedly take the order, but i get a response from all of them that there was no order from my flat.

I blasted them and made sure that the order reaches my home. Finally, after 1.45 hrs, my 1 veg bhaaji reaches home.

Visited this place for a quick breakfast. Had medu Vada which was very average. Felt like eating something that's nothing but dough that is deep fried. Being a South Indian i know what flavours to expect in something so basic as a Vada. To add to this there seemed to be a staff/delivery person from the hotel spitting just around the hotel premises. He then walked in to the hotel and went to the kitchen and I realised he's someone associated with the hotel. The last thing you want to hear and see while having breakfast is a man spitting with disgusting sounds.

Immediately walked off and didn't even order tea which I wanted. Once one of the best Udupi restaurants today is not meeting basic expectations of taste and hygiene. Definitely my last visit...
