Our recent visit to Tarri Restaurant – The Taste of Maharashtra was profoundly disappointing. The seafood served in the Prawns Thali and Bombil Fry was unmistakably stale. The prawns were far from fresh, and even the prawns curry emitted a distinctly unpleasant odour, clearly indicating that the ingredients used were not of acceptable quality.
When we politely raised our concern, the staff attempted to justify the sourness of the curry by attributing it to the use of kokam. However, the issue was not the tanginess—it was the use of stale coconut and substandard seafood across multiple dishes.
For a restaurant that charges premium prices, the quality, freshness, and service standards were shockingly poor. The service was also notably slow, further diminishing the overall experience.
This establishment fails to uphold even basic expectations of hygiene, taste, or authenticity. Highly overpriced and utterly disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking genuine Maharashtrian cuisine or value for...
Read moreWe visited Tarri by watching reels on Instagram. We ordered food for two. The menu was decent; ask about the availability of items before ordering. (decent menu items) As a seafood lover, I ordered the fish fry first (Pomfret). I must say everyone should try their fried fish items; any fish you like won't disappoint you.
Then we ordered mutton sukha, bhejaa masala, Kombdi wade, tandul (rice) bhakri, and soldkadhi at the end.
FOOD QUALITY, QUANTITY And TASTE : The food quality was good and the taste was delicious, but the quantity of mutton masala was a bit less as compared to the pricing otherwise other items' quantity and size were great
AMBIENCE: Talking about ambience, the place is small but cute and has 4 to 5 table arrangements but the lighting, and graphics were great there is only a fan for all tables which does matter for some ppl and doesn't matter for some.
PARKING: two-wheeler can park anywhere easily available space car parking is available if street-side space is vacant
Overall experience was good I would suggest visiting this place once for delicious...
