Now you wanna enjoy a different cuisine than a regular buffet that you get..this might be the right place The global fusion. Location- time Square- Sakinaka. ..Google will help you better..😂😂 The per person rate - the lunch and dinner rates are fixed (799 &999/person) that's the rate of weekdays.. Weekends it's 1499/person. It's worth the price. Ambience - the ambience is classy, peaceful and the place is big enough to accommodate larger group of people. Multiple types is seatings..choose your best where you grab the favourite food faster..haha. My most favourite is the kitchen visibility that you have through the humongous glasses. How the ordering works:- Quite unusual than you might see at other places .For various starters all you have to do is go to the sample menu kept in front of kitchen..there is a bowl containing chits having the dish's name. Pick the no. As per the no. Of dishes you wanna order (1plate/chit).Right from seafood to Japanese SUSHI, MOMOs etc etc.. veg..and the list goes on... Don't get yourself full there's still a lot to go. You also see various starters right in front of the kitchen freshly served in a platter. If something is favourite of yours..grab is ASAP..😂😂 Looking at my appetite I had a lot of things.. probably the global fusion people seemed pretty amused..😂😂 After starters if you are someone who needs main course ..now you have to carry an extra stomach to fill it in. You have veg of course..but non veg lovers this is your place.. you have chicken..you have fish.. you have prawns ..you have everything..so suit yourself. Hold on a second The desert ..how can you forget that. Atleast 6-7 types of deserts..and I'm out of words.
So you wanna fondle with your tongue with a delicious, sizzling mouth watering food and to make your tummy growl and not burp. Wanna taste something different than usual. Get some time and do visit this beautiful place.
@global fusion I hope that covers it all in brief.. I'm a nice reviewer I think .. you can call me in for a more detailed review as many times you want .. hahaha. 😁😁😁😁 I would love to be your guest...
Read moreThis place is a level above at least 90% of the buffet places in Mumbai which provides a classy experience and a unique variety of menu at a bargain price. It's absolutely worth what you pay for or even more, lunch on weekdays will give the best deal.
Ambience: Spacious and feels lavish. A huge Sushi and Sashimi counter at the centre, chairs and tables are premium, as I said, a level above most buffet places.
Food: Huge variety of seafood, suitable for varying palettes, I can say that they've definitely worked on each menu to get their taste right. Fish used for Sushi, fish soup, Fish Salad, Sashimi; like Salmon, Tuna are imported from overseas, a few other from different Indian states, I asked them this detail. They also have different gravy menus, including Crab, lemon fish and other veg and non-veg options. Don't worry, almost all menus are boneless fishes.
There are coupon menus (unlimited) which the waiters serve themselves, good presentation while serving those too. a variety of choices for coupon menu, worth trying all even the veg ones (ask for bite size portions).
Dessert options are limited and not so unique. A little underwhelming.
My choice menu: FISH SOUP, absolutely delicious and a unique taste, very earthy and flavourful, the broth of fish and other ingredients comes along so well. Underrated menu, which no one mentions. HARISSA FISH, the fried covering has a unique taste, and is boneless. SUSHI, veg ones are decent but fish one's are really great, salmon sushi my favourite. Do try Sashimi too, It's raw fish, but doesn't really have a taste or smell, feels like a fesh jelly piece with no taste, worth trying along with soy souce and wasabi. CRAB GRAVY, crabs are always having a unique taste, and this crab gravy is worth trying.
VERDICT: Absolutely worth the money and experience considering the variety and ambience, might be a little pricey compared to other buffet options, but I'd say it's worth it definitely.
BUFFET TRICK: Don't fill yourself with unlimited sugary drinks they offer, try chinese tea to cleanse your palette. Keep deep fried dishes to...
Read moreI was a loyal customer since 2017. I loved the fact that there were so many options that people can't have all the dishes in one seating. I went there on 21 april 2025(Monday) for a lunch. I went there almost after a year ditching peshwa pavillion because I loved this place for its variety and the service. But for my shock everything turned upside down for me. Now they have cut almost 50% of their menu from buffet. And for my horror they had some corporate lunch of around 150 people and they couldn't cater well. I had to wait for a soup bowl for like 10 mins, Finally a manager gave me a filled bowl after I started being cranky. The food was not getting refilled quickly. I never had this experience there. And I feel foolish of not going to a 5 star and coming to my favourite place (once). No I have no reason to go here since there's only half the menu options. Sad because this was the only place I loved for a buffet.
They didn't had the tuna sashimi, many dumplings have been taken off, many starters have been reduced for both veg and nonveg, my server was very good but overall the restaurant service was not exciting as before.
My recommendation for improvement: Change the aquarium setup and clean its glass. Badly need the old menu back. Improve the service speed and keep cutlery available all the time Filter out or do something about the lemongrass stems in the fish soup, it's really irritating and embarassing to take out the grass from my mouth in the dining area. The brownies were too crumbly almost powdery. The white forest cake tasted as if it was rotten. Very Important please do a pest control. I saw a small cockroach on my table and I fear there might be more.
Things I still Love: The food still tasted good and consistent. the quality is atleast maintained. The ambience is nice and cozy. 3.They stopped taking service charges I guess. Ther servers, managers, receptionist are all helpful.
Other options you could pick: The good old barbecue nation Peshwa pavillion/hornby pavillion ( bit more pricy and 5star hotel) Absolute...
