Kerala Quarters, The Name itself says it all The urban Quarter Bar they call it as!! Exceptional Kerala cuisine .We had an incredible dining experience, with each dish surpassing our expectations. The menu offered an impressive range of Kerala specialties to suit the mumbai pallets. Welcome drink - sambharam shot we loved the authentic flavour and the chips along with it comes complimentary. Our mood set now. We were surprised to have the bartender on our table suggesting spirit free sips and Cocktails specially curated keeping the todyshop culture Their mixologists are pure genius! We tried many as suggested and each one was a masterpiece. The combination of flavors, presentation, and creativity was unparalleled. The bartender's passion for crafting unique cocktails was evident in every sip. The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic evening. Music ekdum apna types jawani janeman haseen dilruba, jimikikamal sherrin verghese adipoli to Abba and boneym and what not The non alco extremely happy with The local Nannari soda sarbath, kumbalam kanthari naranga and pacha manga kanthari kulukki... Fully refreshed and now on to food!! We savored the flavors of KFC- Kerala fried chicken, Kozhi Vada- Chicken Cutlets,Crab roast,Aatirachi Kurumulaku( mutton roast in pepper , nei pattiri with Kozhi paal curry( this is an amazing Puri) typestuff with chicken curry made in coconut milk, Meen curry in kudampuli,The Calicut mutton biryani is to die for. we ordered couple of portions of Appams,Pappadams, prawns pickle, chemeen Chammandi etc .Since we were hosting few International guests, they prefered Panni roast( pork), Natholi fry, Venaadu Prawns aswell Each bite for them was a masterclass in balance and flavor. Desserts- Red banana crepe/ Rosa cookieand icecream wascmy favourite and my friends loved the jaggery caramel pudding. The service was very attentive. We were very impressed when our stewards and captains pronounced few of the dishes so right though not from Kerala. They were knowledgeable, and warm. And also helped us navigate the menu and made excellent recommendations. Coming to the Ambience, we felt like our Kerala home& was cozy and traditional, adding to the overall Kerala experience. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The over all experience was a full on 5/5 We felt like we were experiencing a true taste of Kerala's rich culinary heritage. I highly recommend Kerala Quarters to anyone looking for an unforgettable Kerala experience. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again!

Visited to celebrate a special birthday, and was thoroughly disappointed. 5/10.

The only positives - The non-veg dishes and the ambience were lovely. Unfortunately these could not salvage the experience.

Neutral - Veg dishes.

Tremendous improvement needed on - Service, communication, cocktail size, music, overall hospitality, pricing.

We were denied an 8:30 reservation on the grounds of them having two time slots for dinner - 7:30 and 9:30. We chose the latter, quite surprised that they're sticking with slot based reservations on a Monday. We were unfortunately not informed that the last order would be 10:30. This made the whole experience very rushed.

Service staff lacked menu knowledge, except one person who seemed to know more than the others, but was quite defensive and rude when given any feedback. Noticed a distinct lack of warmth and hospitality skills. Staff were chatting in a group at the corner of the bar, and despite being only one of two tables occupied at any given point in time, it was difficult to get the attention of a server. Our ordering experience was extremely rushed, and this further impacted our experience.

Cocktail portions were smaller than anywhere else I've been, and really did not justify the price. Food was on the higher side too. Would not mind the prices if the service and overall experience had been great. However, it was severely lacking on all fronts. We spent over Rs 3000 per person for a sub-standard experience.

Music was a disaster. A mix of Hindi, English, Punjabi, and Malayalam music...switching from melancholy to upbeat in a second..almost like scrolling random reels on Instagram. They need to pick a vibe and curate a playlist accordingly.

Overall a special evening that turned out to be a disappointing experience with a hefty bill. Would not recommend for dine in. Food was good, so maybe delivery would...

My experience with Kerala Quarters was a culinary letdown. The Chicken Biryani, touted as an authentic delight, was a far cry from the real thing. A traditional Kerala biryani is typically accompanied by papad, pickle, boiled egg, and a side of raita that adds a tangy zing. Unfortunately, my order lacked these essential elements, and the raita that came with it seemed like an afterthought. For 731Rs, I expected a symphony of flavors and aromas, but what I got was a lackluster dish of boiled rice and chicken that lacked any distinct character. The chicken pieces were unappetizing, and despite the generous serving, the poor quality made it a waste of money. I received the package at 2:20 pm, and within 10 minutes, I'd discarded the food and penned down my disappointment. Given the price point and the restaurant's authenticity claim, I expected a lot better. It's imperative that Kerala Quarters refines its recipe and prioritizes quality over profits. Based on my experience and feedback from others, it seems the restaurant's focus has shifted from serving good food to making a quick buck. With prices that are steep, I'd advise potential customers to think twice before splurging. Unfortunately, Kerala Quarters falls short of being a worthwhile...

A refreshing breath of fresh air to Mumbai's busy food scene. Kerala Quarters, is located on the ground level, a portion of where Cirqa 1960 used exist. They have an outdoor seating, thankfully with AC keeping one cool yet have an open ambience and an indoor seating area having a longish bar and coffee counter. The place is simple yet modern and gives a very comfortable feeling. The vibe of the ambience flows into the service and food which is warm and welcoming. In starters the masala fried mandeli, mutton sukka and pomfret masala are must tries. The freshness of the seafood and flavours of the masala make it a very homely food feeling. the mutton stew (white gravy), prawn curry with ghee poddi appams are a hit. The meen moili and rice is something i am looking forward to try. The Kappi based mocktail and rum infused kokkam mocktail (Malabar Monk Mule) were something we tried and enjoyed. In desserts we only tried the jaggery payasum which was sweet yet had a different take thanks to the jaggery. Playing some lovely 70's disco music this place has a very warm ambience.
