KFC — Restaurant in Mumbai

I have no problems with the taste and quality of the food at this outlet. But BEWARE! The staff here are smart and sly to con customers. I went to buy a kfc bucket meal for a family of 8. And I stood there with my sister contemplating that how many chicken bucket sets we should buy. The staff overheard us and he was quick to add that I should buy the “Friendship Bucket” meal. It will have 12 pieces of chicken. We ordered that and we also ordered a Zinger Burger meal set. We ordered for Sprite as the only choice of drink. Only when the food was ready we were shocked to see that the staff cheated us and only gave us their so called Friendship Bucket which costed 1700 Rupees that came with no drinks or fries. A 6 piece chicken bucket meal with fries n drinks costs 500-600 something rupees. They could have suggested us two 6-pieces bucket meal sets but they had to con us. Today when I came to the same airport in the same month as my previous flight, I asked the manager if they have the friendship bucket and he said they don’t have such a thing. And then I informed him how his staff conned me the last week. Please be smart and cautious when ordering from this outlet....

Please don’t choose this outlet, after take your cash …staff behave is surprising….don’t given plates ….just given all order in your hand and if you ask plates manger inform we don’t have, I’m asking one straw manager tell ask to Pizza Hut . And one lady staff tell you can take to flight & have it ! My order 7up given Pepsi with out strew .First time ever seen this type of behaviour from KFC.

I saw this same behaviour they showed to ladies customers.

I have had KFC meals from multiple restaurants over the entire country and also from abroad. This was, by far the worst experience i had.

The chicken was bland and stale and had no flavour at all. Clearly, the chicken was old - my guess is they cooked it the previous day or earlier and just reheated it and supplied to the customers. Coffee was offered instead of Soft Drinks and the quantity and taste of the coffee was way below par. Out of all the items in the meal that i ordered, only the French Fries had salt and that too in excess. (Guess they messed it up while adding salt in the food)

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling out of Mumbai...
