Vaango — Restaurant in Mumbai

Not good at all!

Their outlet at T3 Delhi arrival terminal is far better. The staff here is a little casual. The girl at order counter was distracted and was trying to do several things at the same time. It was annoying to see her not giving her complete attention while taking the order. It wasn't even crowded or busy for her to behave that way.

Calling Onion Tomato Uttapam as Masala Uttapam is ridiculous. They are serving less than 100 ml sambar with two Uttapams. Not enough for even one Uttapam. They do not have forks in cutlery and provide only spoons.

I also took a Filter Coffee which tasted horrible. Apart from being bitter, it had no flavour of coffee. The decoction seems to have been made hours ago which lost all the flavour. The milk too had an odd taste. When I gave the feedback about coffee to the same girl, she had no reaction! She neither acknowledged the feedback nor apologised for my experience. She was absolutely untrained to handle complaints and take feedback.

Don't understand if the management cares what value is being provided for the exorbitant prices being charged. Delhi outlet is 10 times better than Mumbai. Why so much difference in two different outlets of...

Looking for a good cup of coffee before catching a long international flight in the morning. Attracted by Vango for its' name expecting it to be as authentic as its' name for coffee. Watching orders, tempted to order a combo breakfast that includes coffee. Pretty heavy demand, they warn you ahead about wait times. Utappam was made fresh and done well as requested, vada was heated on a pan reflecting the taste, though idlis are made fresh, they could be softer. Rather disappointed about the Coffee which appeared to be instant not filter as expected. Due to little time at hand before boarding, couldn't follow up with them. Went to there place at around 530 am. Ordered idli vada combo including filter coffee. Paid around 550 bucks. Served immediately without any delay. Its an self service system, so had to collect it from counter. Sambar was somewhat hot. Idli and vada were cold. Not making much fuss, I decided to eat it, surprisingly, the idli tasted sour and stale. Then tasted vada and same result, It was my first and definitely last experience with the mentioned restaurant. Exorbitantly priced for stale and poorly served food. Filter coffee was cold too but just finished to fill my stomach and catch the flight on time. Would definitely NOT recommend this place to any traveller passing mumbai international airport.
