I stayed here with my friends this weekend while visiting for the Ed Sheeran concert.
We booked 2 twin-bed rooms 3 months in advance and I had called and confirmed it then and also 2 days before our arrival. Since the hotel’s check-in policy was 3pm, whereas our concert was starting at 3 and we landing at 1:30, I requested that the rooms were ready an hour early so that we can quickly change and leave. The manager Ravi confirmed this wasn't an issue on call.
However, when we arrived at the hotel lobby around 2:15, after waiting 10 minutes for them to check in other guest in front of me, I discovered that they only reserved one twin bed room for me and the other wasn’t even there on their system. I opened my Bonvoy app and showed the 2 confirmation numbers and they said it was in some other name. I said both were in my name when I booked it and then a staff behind told it was assigned to another guest in hindi. I understood and then the manager told me that they were operating at full capacity and so only one twin bed room was available and the other is a queen bed at the other end of the same floor and if that were fine for me. My friends said it’s okay and then the manager spent the next 10 minutes trying to override another room to my name wasting our time. When a guest books a room nearly 3 months in advance, it’s basic understanding that the hotel would try to give closeby rooms and to the same specification that the guest had booked rather than giving it away to another guest. This whole mismanagement cost us time and we had got delayed for our event as a result.
On the positive side, I had a wonderful time with food and drinks which were of excellent taste and mixed well. The service in the bar was great and we had a wonderful time there having several rounds of drinks. We even ordered room service late in the night around 2-3am and had no issues getting food and drinks. The only issue was they would take 20-25 minutes to get anything, even a simple mixer. So after our first round, we planned our order in advance so we could get it faster. Even then, there was an issue where the person told he’ll confirm the availability of red bull cans and call back but didn’t for long and we had to call again and confirm it.
We also decided to use the pool the 2nd day. We checked the pool timing is till 8pm and planned our swim for 7-8pm after going around Mumbai during the evening. But during our swim, the security at the pool came at 7:30 and said it’s closing time asking us to leave. I told him that we confirmed with the hotel that it’s till 8pm but he said in hindi “nobody comes during night time. I have to go”. We insisted and stayed bit longer telling him to talk to hotel as he stood grumpily. It is disappointing as they should be more accommodating of guests and adhere to their own policies. In terms of views, the pool is pretty great and the rooftop is amazing. In terms of maintenance, the pool was bad and doesn’t reflect on the 5-star nature of the hotel at all.
As for the rooms, they are compact but well-maintained and very clean. They had almost every single-use item that one would expect in this kind of a hotel incl. ironing board and hair dryer. I found a bit of annoyance that even to head to my room I had to use the key card for the elevator but I understand this is a security feature. I would have hoped they’d adopt better technology such as face scan for this to avoid the hassle of using the key card each time. When I ordered some food and the delivery person arrived, I called the front desk to pick and deliver it to my room only to be told it’s a security concern and they won’t do it as per policy. I had to go down to collect it myself (although there wasn’t any check, so it's a weird policy). And when downstairs, I bought a can of sprite and they took 10 minutes just to bill and give it. I feel some of the policies might just impede the quality of service for the guests. So rooms and view are good but service is bad. Based on this mixed experience, I doubt I’d be staying here...
Read moreI will try to be precise about my experience. For the background- we are titanium elite members and have stayed at this property multiple times as of now almost 25+ nights cumulative across all previous stays. ||During our last stay we had an early morning flight to catch so we requested checkout around 3:30 in the morning on 19/10/25. The gentleman who arrived to assist with our luggages has known us since long since he is also a front desk associate. Knowing to which I even asked if i can help. After keeping our luggages outside our room, he told us to proceed downstairs as he would be doing an “inspection”. As we still in the process of wrapping things up - the gentleman kept on roaming across different sections of our room for 5 minutes, potentially checking entire room items all within our presence making us feel extremely awkward and embarrassed. This instance is a good reminder for the management to host a better training program for the associates to help them understand how to honour guest privacy and maintain respect.||I would also like to talk about housekeeping and in room dining. All again from our last stay. |Because the issue was so recurring, I called duty/housekeeping manager to get linen change in-front of them as the one they have changed as part of room cleaning was already dirty having hairs and lot of stains . After which the housekeeping staff had to get 3 different sets of sheets in presence of their executive because every time they brought new linens something was present in them- ranging from hairs to rose petals. Not to forget we also had seen spider on the made up bed sheet and caterpillar hanging from ceiling before.||Coming to in room dining- I would not suggest ordering a breakfast from your room. On record they fail to deliver food which lacks on quality, taste and delivery. Even an associate taking order over call lacks decency and had audacity to even question if we are really not feeling well to go to buffet restaurant for breakfast or questioning about food quantity/portion that we are trying to order. We had to really escalate things up and wait for 2 hours just to get the old school “parathas”. This was not the first time and we had complied through most of which so that it doesn’t look impolite and eventually started ordering from outside. |Having said that- the review is made after staying for over 3 weeks at this property with an intent to improve entire guest experience that marriott...

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the soundproofing ensured peaceful sleep despite being close to the airport. The workspace in the room, along with fast Wi-Fi, made it easy to stay productive during meetings and calls.

The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of my stay. It featured a wide variety of Indian and continental options, from freshly made dosas and parathas to eggs, pastries, fruits, and freshly brewed coffee. The chefs were friendly and even prepared special dishes upon request. I also tried the in-house restaurant for dinner, and the quality, taste, and presentation of the food were exceptional — truly restaurant-grade dining within the hotel.
