The above rating is not for the product as I didn’t get to try the same, it’s entirely for the basic courtesy/ service or rather a lack of it. Had visited the Bakesr Street outlet at gate 42 at T2 of Mumbai Intl Airport. Wanted to takeaway vada Pav before boarding my flight. While 1 staff did mention to the other please heat the vada Pav, I was told by the lady at the cashier that it will take at least 10 mins as something else was going on then. I had to say then I won’t need as my boarding will start by then. Reheating a product would have really taken 10 mins? Is okay to prioritize your internal processes above the customer and hence the sale, especially when there were 3 people behind the counter & 2 of them already seemed aligned with the customer need? No sure if the lady was the In charge or just the order taker or handling cash, but post this, the other 2 employees will not react in the same way in future (let’s quickly heat), they might also think it’s okay to do this -put our work ahead of the guest, do things at our own pace, whereas we all know it should be the other way round- for any business to exist clients would be critical right! Read moreThe prices are high, even compared to cafes in airports in other countries, considering that the quality of food is not up to the par and the portions sizes are quite small. The sandwiches are bland, tasteless and are just two half pieces of not so great bread with little bit of veggies (so little green chutney that you can hardly taste it). Tea taste was so so, and cup size was quite small. I won’t mind paying their prices if the food quality was good with adequate portion size. To the owners, with such prices you can afford to improve quality and increase portion sizes, as food material cost is quite a small fraction of the prices. But seeing so many bad reviews here, and food still being of poor quality, I don’t think anyone cares. Owners probably think that since people are just passing through (not worried about repeat customers) they can provide them with poor quality food even when...
Read moreThe young girl who was working at Baker Street Coffee stall today needs a promotion or at the very least recognition. We arrived for our flight back to the UK and I left a bag in the taxi. When my phone rang she dealt with the person who called me to tell me that my bag was in the taxi, she told him to bring it back to me which he did. So by the time she'd got us our coffee my bag had been returned saving me a huge amount of trouble and stress. I tried to offer her a tip but she refused hence I took her photo and I'm writing this review. Thank you so much...
