I had a horrible experience for the first time today because of the manager SUNIL KUMAR. This has been my favourite restaurant ever since my childhood. I have been to this restaurant so many times. Today when I went there for dinner with my child. I was having my soup and my child was having salad. I gave him my phone to watch the poems. He came to my table and started saying you are doing very wrong with your child by giving him the phone. I said I don’t give him the phone at home, just here so that he sits peacefully. He kept arguing loudly that i never gave my children, its not good for his eyes. I requested him to please stop the conversation and let us eat peacefully as i know what im doing. He’s my child and that’s my lookout. But he kept on being louder arguing non stop. I requested him to stop as everyone’s listening and you don’t know that how well im raising my child otherwise. So don’t judge me in a day. Upon asking him to stop, he kept on being louder by making actions to other people in the restaurant. It was embarrassing so i told him you are making us uncomfortable and I really feel like leaving. HE SAID YOU CAN LEAVE AS IM NOT GOING TO LOSE ANYTHING. As I LEFT , He said loudly GET OUT. I said this was my favourite restaurant but never will I step in again. SUNIL KUMAR needs to mind his own business. He kept following us till our car to...
Read moreWe had a truly memorable dining experience at Maldrin’s, a place that brings together comforting and flavourful desi Chinese with remarkable finesse. Their menu offers a variety of dishes that strike the perfect balance between familiarity and flair — leaving a lasting impression on the palate.
We began with the Chicken Manchow Soup, which was rich, hearty, and brimming with umami — a soul-soothing start that instantly set the tone for the meal.
The Chicken Winglets were the unexpected star of the evening. Though they appeared quite basic and unadorned, they turned out to be incredibly delicious — succulent, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. A true testament to the saying: never judge a dish by its appearance. Comforting and packed with flavor, they stood out as a clear highlight.
We rounded off the meal with the Chicken Hot Pot Sizzler, which arrived with an enticing sizzle and aroma. It was generous, thoughtfully assembled, and deeply satisfying — a warm, well-balanced dish that brought everything together beautifully.
Overall, Maldrin’s exceeded our expectations with its unpretentious yet memorable offerings. It’s the kind of place that quietly wins you over — one comforting, flavorful...
Read moreVisited Maldrin's restaurant recently, a small but welcoming local restaurant tucked in Sunder Lane, Orlem, Malad. We started off with the Chicken Manchow Soup, which had a comforting, classic flavor — perfect to kickstart the meal.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the Chicken Winglet. Though it didn’t look particularly fancy on the plate, one bite changed our perception. The wings had a delightful blend of sweetness and heat, thanks to the chilies added during preparation. It was a perfect balance of flavor that left us wanting more.
We also ordered the Chicken Hot Pot Sizzler, which was served with fried rice. The portion was generous, and the sizzling dish was packed with bold, well-marinated flavors, making it quite satisfying.
Service was courteous and attentive — the staff even suggested a few items based on our taste preferences. For its price and quality, Maldrin's restaurant stands out as a great local spot worth visiting if you're craving flavorful Asian cuisine without burning a hole in...
