Prem's — Restaurant in Mumbai

My closest pal, sometimes craves a couple of Red Bulls, smokes and some Chinese grub. Whenever he does, we go to Prem's. This joint has been around for ages and has become quite a famous hangout for a lot.

The owner, a polite, Sardarji usually sits on his chair and oversees the operations while the helpful staff is running around, fulfilling orders.

We are vegetarians. We usually order a Veg Lollipop. It is cauliflower coated in batter and fried. Simple yet delish. For the mains, we usually order Triple Schezwan Fried Rice. The quantity is good enough for 2 averagely hungry people.

The outside seating comes with a big screen for all your sporting needs and white noise from the vehicles on the street. I have never sat in the AC section so I wouldn't comment, but it feels comfortable.

They have a pretty decent unisex washroom as well, just in case.

Never go on a Sunday... Owner seemed completely hassled by the crowds, he seemed active, but was least bothered about patrons' problems..

Ambience. Restaurant has AC and non AC section.. smoking is allowed in Non AC section...any one who is little bit allergic to smoke, should sit in AC... However on Sundays restaurant is packed.. waiting patrons are randomly let in.. no waitlist is maintained... hence getting an AC table is like a lottery

This is not a place for group (a group bigger then 4 would be a problem).. they don't allow tables to join or provide extra seating.. so some people end up standing which adds to the chaos..

Food Food is excellent... A little steep in pricing, but portions...

The worst Chinese i ever had. We ordered Chicken Manchow soup & the chicken was raw in it. Then we ordered main course Chicken Triple schezwan . Dish came without Omlette & Chicken pieces was completely raw & we couldn’t eat it at all. Also ordered Shredded chicken which doesn’t even justify the name plus had only few small pieces & was sufficient only for 1 person.
